Ehrgeiz.
But that was published by Square.
This is really fun. There's a lot of cool stuff to poke around on that computer. Maybe even some other games...?
Cool, out of alpha and in to beta! A few more months and I might pick this up.
strafing around corners looks like a nightmare. having to move the reticle to the edge of the screen to turn looks so slow. the first half of the video is this dude getting ganked because he can't turn around fast enough to even see who's shooting him. i guess everyone's working with the same disability though.
and if it worked w/ ps move, those players would get absolutely dominated by the people using a controller. wait for socom and see what I mean.
Zomg I'm a grrrrrrrl and I'm ANGRY so give me attention!
I lol'd
Quoted for truth. If only Bioware would realize this.
ME2, DA2, down down down hill we go.
Well we are talking nVidia and EA here, not exactly bastions of ethics in themselves. Seems plausible enough.
I personally hate this aspect of nVidia vs. AMD. Games shouldn't be optimized by developers to run better on one piece of hardware or another. They should either work with both GPU camps to ensure everyone is getting the best experience possible, or work with industry APIs and leave the optimization to the GPU driver divisions. Lmao!
Yeah Brooke is hot.
Might I suggest a name change?

The impact of MLAA as a post-processing effect is minimal at resolutions that high. There are only a few places in the Batman screenshots, for example, where there is a discernible improvement in image quality (Batman's cowl, guard's arm), but many examples of fuzziness introduced to textures (guard's zipper, distant brick textures, cloth banner, etc).
Counterstrike and Everquest, recognize!
I remember getting in line at Zellers at about midnight to make sure I got my PS2 on launch day. Picked it up with Summoner and Timesplitters (and the stupid expensive stand). Picked up Gungriffon Blaze a month later, as I was a HUGE Working Designs fan. In those first few months though, I think I played Final Fantasy IX more than anything else.
I sold my PS2 when the XBox came out a year later, and, being a huge RPG fan, have always regretted it. I repurchased a PS2 just...
That's sad but I respect you for finally coming to terms with it.
Vive la PC and welcome to the community!
You do realize that you're comparing a $200 video card to a $500 video card, right?
Is for awesome.
