They pub'd Arx Fatalis, one of my favorite PC games. Surprised as I thought the Gothic series had quite a following.
That was interesting for all of 8 seconds.
Motion control isn't a game. But a well done game can benefit from the addition. Think Mario Galaxy. Great game, not at all based on motion control, but the addition is worthwhile.
Bet it would sell better if they called it Assassin's Creed: Lady Picture Show.
Fuckin' love Aphex Twin.
I for one loved Fable and Fable II, but have held off playing III on the 360 because I knew it was coming for PC. And things are just better on PC.
Person taking the video needs to work on his aim. Recording half the screen = fail.
This just in: People eventually stop using old shit.
In other news, Windows 7 is awesome.
Now you're playing with power.
WoW is good times, and Cataclysm takes it to the next level. If you haven't tried it, you should. And if you've tried it and don't like it, then at least you gave it a shot. 12 million people can't be wrong.

Yeah! I mean, just think of all the great movie-based video games! No? How about... all the fantastic videogame-based movies! Hmm nothing there either. Damn.

Looking like it might be an underwhelming performance from the Red Team. Guess we'll see how the official numbers look tomorrow. I'd get a GTX 580 if I didn't love Eyefinity so much.
needs more realtime lighting.
I stopped going to IGN for news/reviews a long time ago. Their editing and overall quality of reporting is somewhere between dirt and mud. Still though, this doesn't really sit well with me. If you thought IGN was incentive-motivated before, just wait to see what happens if they become co-dependent on retail sales.
Nice piece and well written. Some good choices there.
Haha!
Let me preface this by saying I'm a "PC elitist" with a 360 and a PS3 within arms reach, but I haven't been bothered to even brush the dust off of either in several months. So really I don't care about consoles as more than a passing fancy.
But saying that the PS3's failings of late is a result of Microsoft's anti-competitive nature is pure BS. I'd counter that by saying it's Microsoft's COMPETITIVE nature that has kept their consol...
+1
Craziest shit ever. Right there.
Nice of them to start development 2 months after launch. :P
I actually picked this up the other day. Moreso to push my rig than anything, but I've been enjoying the casual pacing. Have logged on a few times, done my levee quests, some crafting, logged out. There is pretty much nothing in terms of quests or content, but damn the game looks good.
The interface is worlds better than it was in beta. I have no more ui lag, and the targeting system actually...
