I purchased this on release and only started playing it the other day. You know, I didn't (and still don't) think the game looks half bad. I play on PC @ 1080p w/ all setting maxed though. Also, I haven't experienced any of the graphical glitches that you spend half the review discussing. I have, however, experienced a lock-up or two. I must agree that the battles are far too easy, compared to the later stages of the original. Being only about 10 hrs in so far, I can't c...
DAMN, just saw this now, called around, and every store here in Winnipeg is sold out already. One dude said I was about the 30th call for it today. On redflagdeals apparently.
Looks like he needs a new video card.
+1 for Chrome!
Considering you can use either a PS3 or XBox 360 controller with a PC, this point is null and void.
PC gamers have always been a more DIY crowd.
Wanna talk about getting your hands dirty? When I started gaming, I used to have to write DOS based boot-up scripts to run different memory configurations depending on the game I wanted to play. And for something pretty related, getting Warcraft I to run over a 2400 baud modem was also good times.
These and many similar experiences taught me the valuable lessons of troubleshooting and problem solving. I think an...
Shows that they're not influenced by the advertisers, if nothing else!
But I Lol'd at that too.
Tell that to Apple.
"Hi, I'm a Mac."
"And I'm a PC."
In general context, we shorten IBM PC compatible to simply PC. The rest of the world knows what we mean. I suggest you get on board.
Also, Lol @ gaming on Macs.
Sad to say, I share the author's viewpoint and disappointment 110%.
Silly rabbit, MMOs are for PCs.
It doesn't. Just some minor upgrades to the existing engine. I am disappoint.
Yay, another DirectX 9.0 PC game.
Looks awesome anyway, but I hate PC games being so gimped by multiplatform intentions.
I hope they hire more than 3 voice actors and the main story is longer than 8 hours.
This is kind of retarded. I mean, if they wanted to enforce this in a tournament setting, sure, go ahead. But regular online play, let people do whatever they want. You pay for the game, so as long as you're not hacking, you should be able to play how you want. They're a game publisher, not the effin' police. If you want to be sure you're not gonna get TK'd, then play with a friend, not some random. In two days, Blizzard went from cool to big brother.
Don't forget to pick up an EA Online Pass then.
Cool story bro.
I have some insane time clocked on EQ as well...
I remember camping something (Ragefire?) for my friend's cleric epic for 3 or 4 days... I'd spend the days grinding on the mobs in the zone, and when I needed to sleep, I'd set an alarm to go off every 30 mins to wake up and check on the spawn.
I miss EQ. :(
36hrs, FFIX start to finish.
Haha :D
On a related note, if I can train Skittles to attack those rabbits... Day 1.
Yes but pr0n is best.
