Obvious biased statement is obvious.
Online play started on the PC, grew on the PC, and became a huge industry. The online community for PC gaming is enormous and doesn't just head from new game to new game. Huge communities grow around certain online games that allow customization. Such as Battlefield, Counterstrike, Half-Life 2, Left 4 dead, GTA series, Team Fortress 2 and quite a few more. Not to mention the vast amounts of MMO's.
Consoles = Fun with friends at your h...
It's inevitable.
Consoles are becoming more and more like PC's with each generation. Pretty soon they could just be considered pre-built PC's with a custom Operating System. That's basically what they are now, bulkier Mac's with custom games. (Internet, Media, Games, even some non gaming programs on the PS3.)
PC and Consoles will inevitably become one, in the far future. But not the upcoming generation, and probably not the one after that.
That's just ho...
You may not be able to distinguish the individual pixels from further away. But the more pixels, the clearer the overall image is as it's coming into your eyes. The more life like the light seems.
I can easily tell the differences, just need to know what to look for.
Core i7 940 = Complete waste of money.
The Core i7 920 is exactly the same chip, it's just clocked lower. You can overclock it to the speed of the 940 easily on air cooling and have the same performance. And you can easily clock it even higher than that, attaining close to the Extreme's performance. For a hell of a lot less money.
CPU's are just going the same way as what GPU's already are now...
Tons of really small cores instead of one big one. That's what a GPU is.
It's not the video output that takes the most processing. It's creating that video that does.
You can only split a games coding into so many threads, before things become really unstable.
The article writer doesn't seem to know that Nvidia's cellphone/mobile platform is highly advanced, far beyond the technology in an iPhone.
Sure, Microsoft might make a flop of their phone, but at least it will get the Nvidia Tegra out in the market more prominently. It's a piece of hardware I've wanted to get my hands on for quite some time.
Yeah.. I'm very pissed off that they forced everyone to change to their super gay Hotmail Live. No longer am I aloud to use Classic. It fu*king sucks. I don't need all these gay features. I just want to be able to have a Hotmail account and be able to read my damn message using anything I want.
The new Windows Live Hotmail has less compatibility with things.
And what's with the huge ass GUI? It takes up way to much of the damn screen now. I don't get a nice big view of...
I despise these cards. Because it's purely software that makes these run better with certain programs and tasks.
It's no different of a chip than a GTX 280. It just has some more ram and different firmware.
There peoples who have ripped the firmware from older Quadro cards and installed it on consumer cards and it ran just as well.
There's a 3.5G Wireless Internet version coming out soon also. And I really want one lol.
This thing is the ultimate pocket sized portable media and internet center.
Sure, it doesn't have the games of the iPod Touch. But it beats it at everything else hands down.
CNN pretended as if it was a real hologram standing in the studio. But that's not true actually. Technology isn't quite there yet :).
What they actually did was use the same technology you see with those webcam augmented reality type programs. Where the webcam looks at a pattern and can place a 3d object on it in the video feed.
So Wolf Blitzer was actually looking and talking to nothing, the hologram is only there in the video feed.
Yeah, It's a good thing there have been some good breakthroughs in battery technology these past 2 years. And yet again Carbon Nanotube's are one of the breakthroughs in battery technology lol.
What can't carbon nanotubes do!!
This is an amazing breakthrough. Hopefully this makes it into market soon. Solar is really gonna start making those Oil company's sweat :P
Was it this one:
https://addons.mozilla.org/...
Cause I made that one :P
It's not an actual new browser named Minefield.
Minefield is just what they call Firefox versions that are still in testing. (Still out in the minefield looking for mines.) :P
Also, if your choose to use the beta. Make sure to go to about:config and set 'javascript.options.jit.chrome ' to TRUE for increased performance.
Also, you can make old add-on works, by downloading them, opening them with winrar. And editing the install.rdf file with notepad. Change ...
Just so people don't get confused...
This article may say "a minimum of 8GB DDR3 ram"
But you don't have to have 8GB. 3GB works just as fine. Just less memory.
Wii Music isn't anything like Rockband or Guitar Hero.
The only thing they have in common is they're about music.
Rockband your merely trying to hit keys to the tune of a song.
Wii Music your actually playing the music by pressing buttons how you want to controlling the beat.
It's a totally different experience, but it's not as good as it could have been.
Dunno where in the USA you live. But i've been getting Wii Music commercials quite prominently.
Depends what channels you watch :). He can't pay for airtime on every channel of course.
Yeah, I was quite disappointed after I loaded up Wii Music. I thought there would be more freedom of expression, than just changing the beat timing by waving the wiimote around. And small changes in tone.
Exactly, it makes you wonder what the fu*k is wrong with the people running Rockstar. Has SecuRom ever stopped piracy before? No. Has it ever even halted piracy for more than a few days? No.
Rockstar wasted an amazing $200,000 on the piracy protection, and it was cracked before the game was even officially released. What a fu*king waste of money. Could have been spent to make the game a much better port, better optimized for PC's.
