@Sprud:

What version of Photoshop are you using? Because my PNG is saved through Photoshop CS4. Using an EXIF tool, mine has some extra features it employ's compared to yours. But other than that, the exif data match's exactly the same. Looking at it's hex data I would guess Photoshop CS2?

@life doomer: How is it not?

Sure, it's not a replacement as a controller for hard core gamers. But it has the ability to enhance your experience while still using your preferred remote.

@hay:

It didn't compress it at all actually. Because I wanted to release the image as it was ripped out of the flash file. Nothings been done to it except adding a quick watermark. It half defeats the purpose of ripping the image if I compress it right after instead of releasing the original image file.

I've ripped the full res image from the sites flash file. Took some real digging lol.

1440x1460 Resolution, And just under 3MB.

No games would "require" a DX10 GPU to run. And especially not with DX11 as it support DX9/10/11 GPU's. The DX9/10 GPU's will merely have to process the game with less advantages.

@SpartanGR: Your obviously didn't understand the point I was making then. Because I can say the same for PC and I did. You can upgrade the parts in your computer at the same cycle you do for a console, and for the same price if you feel like doing that. It's about CHOICE. The freedom to upgrade the parts when you want to, and if you have the money to. The choice to play in the newest graphics or not. You don't have that choice on a console, your stuck with the same specs until a new console c...

Yes it has some extra abilities, but it's still not DX10 compatible, as the article confirms. It's would be more like DX9.1, just like DX10.1. It's still DX10, just with a few extra features programmers can program into the game that will be supported by the GPU.

Just because a new card comes out doesn't mean you have to suddenly upgrade. The same reasoning could be applied to the PS3 or Xbox 360. Why upgrade from your PS2 to a PS3? Because it allows you to play with better graphics if you have the money to spare for such tech.

In the PC world you merely have more increments in performance released instead of every 4-8 years. It's up to you to decide if you have the money to spare for the newest graphic cards to play at even higher details. ...

As stated before, it doesn't matter if it's not immediately used, or only barely used. It's about making it available and advancing our technologies to open up possibilities for the future. I don't know what's up with you and bashing news like this.

@SkyGamer: Xbox 360's GPU is a DX9 GPU, and is only compatible with DX9, not DX10. Since DX10 wasn't made backwards compatible, luckily DX11 is.

It's not just about making good games. It's about creating the technology. If game developers thought like you did, we'd still only have 8-Bit 2D games.

Advancing game technology isn't a bad thing. It opens doors to the future.

Yeah... uhh.. Rambus.. I have some bad news for you... Everybody hates you and DDR4 isn't a big enough improvement over DDR3 for the industry to want to adopt it. The industry is just going to move straight to DDR5 just like the graphics industry did. Or probably something even better when the time comes, since DDR3 is just starting to be adopted. By the time the industry is ready to move to something better, there will be much better tech to use lol.

That's why I used the Nvidia Tegra platform as a comparison, so your first point is moot.

6221d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah... No.. The iPhone 3GS is using a 600mhz ARM processor, that's not enough to handle a game like Half-Life 2. Even Nvidia's Tegra platform wouldn't be able to do Half-Life 2 at acceptable frame rates, and that device has an even more powerful dual core arm processor along with 9400 GPU.

@AKNAA: Well like you said, your not a tech whiz, while I am. I haven't stated anywhere that the demo's were amazing. I've only been talking about the actual technology.

I'm sick of these idiots like AKNAA who seem to ignore the most important feature of Natal in their anti-natal statements. INFRARED F*CKING SENSOR and personal CPU! Until the Eye-toy has these things or something even better, stop claiming it's the same as Natal. Because the addition of a Infrared Sensor put's Natal way ahead.

6223d ago 1 agree5 disagreeView comment

The same could be applied to white people behind white backgrounds.

6225d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Natal isn't just a camera, it also has a infrared depth sensor which doesn't see in colors, only infrared, so the color of your skin doesn't matter.

6225d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah back then it probably wasn't as much. But there's also the fact that Natal is using a specially developed one that was worked on by 3DV for over a decade. It's quite a cool little piece of tech.
