Actually I have TitanFall on PC and dont even own a PS4 or PS3. I'm not really rooting for one side or the other, I just call it how I see it. Everything I've given you is all fact all except for the conclusion which i pointed out all compliments of Microsoft. And indeed I was being generous because in truth I think Xbox one is more along the lines of 3.5 million.
Sony just stated they had sold 7 million units to customers. The last time Microsoft stated any concrete numbers to customers was back in January at 3 million. They just recently stated they have shipped 5 million to retailers. One can't help but assume they at least sold another million thanks to TitanFall which would put them at 4 mil and that gives PS4 an estimate of 3 million lead. I'm the type of guy who likes facts but Microsoft aren't giving any so we can only jump to concl...
1. I never said TitanFall was horrible.
2. I never said TitanFall is doing bad. I said it's selling great all things considered.
3. The PS4 lead is actually 3 million now if not more.
4. I have no hate for Xbox One. I want to see them succeed.
Being a native from Chicago I can say I'm really looking forward to this game. After watching the gameplay seeing how he jumps fences and into yards I'll be the 1st to say that the Watch Dogs team definitely did their homework on the atmosphere of the city. And if the game is anything like FarCry 3 then I'm even more amped. Simply put this is my personal most anticipated game of the year. Also i think the real reason this game was delayed was to improve it's multiplayer modes ...
I never got to play it on PS3 so for me the $60 is justified. But I can understand why someone who owns it on PS3 would want some kind of discount maybe in the form of a rebate.
I'll say this, Titan Fall did pretty well for itself. However it wasn't the savior Microsoft tried to push it to be. It just didn't move enough Xbox One's, but in terms of software it's not doing all that bad all things considered. If it was out on PlayStation consoles it would be selling much better and wouldn't carry all the negative controversy which I think also factors into sales. It seems to me that Microsoft just wasted millions if not billions on that exclusivi...
There used to be a time when Resident Evil was something to look forward to. Unfortunately that time has come and gone. Resident Evil 4 was the last good one in the series in my opinion. Now it's just horrible. The stories ruined, the plot makes no sense, the survival horror aspect is gone in favor of action adventure. In short it's just a completely different game carrying the Resident Evil name.
The only way they can revive Resident Evil is to start from scratch wit...

That trips me out too. For all we know Xbox One never even sold to customers the 3.9 they shipped back in January. I have to admit Microsoft did a clever spin to say they sold 5 million to retailers to confuse the easily confused.
When it comes to the Kinect whatever Microsoft's true intentions were, they obviously didn't think things all the way through. On paper bundling the Kinect almost sounds like a good deal and has a lot of potential, but in reality it only puts them at a huge disadvantage in terms of price and availability.
That guy Don Mattrick didn't have a clue what he was doing with the Xbox brand, however I do tend to like Spencer. He seems like a level headed guy and I'm ...
@SniperControl, I highly doubt PS4 and Xbone can handle that until probably the end of the gen. Crisis 3 is a highly graphically intense game at full settings. Maybe Xbox One can do it if they utilize their cloud jutsu.
Honestly I think PC is the best platform to play on right now. I think in time PS4 and Xbox One will both be great systems but their both mediocre right now. Other than PC I think the PS3 and 360 still have a lot of fight left.
Pretty good numbers for PS4 considering they've been pretty quiet as of late.
Oddworld did used to be a hit. I think a lot of gamers forget just how big it was. It was one of the most memorable games on PS1, and I remember how pissed all PlayStation fans were when it became exclusive to Xbox. At the time it was a steal for Microsoft, glad to see it coming back out on Playstation 4.
This is a pretty dumb way to look at things. By that logic PS4 could do the same thing and launch a Infamous Bundle for $350. If they were to do that make no mistake PS4's dominance would be set in stone. However Sony doesn't need to do that because PS4 is selling amazing just on it's own merit.
Nintendo put themselves in this position. I'm not going to go on a long rant of all the things they did wrong because by now it should be obvious to everyone. All I have to say is hopefully Nintendo learns from their mistakes and the next console be in better shape.
It's like they say, it's a marathon not a sprint.
The way I see it is Rift and Morpheus is going in two opposite directions. With Rift aiming more for the casual market and Morpheus leaning towards the hardcore gaming audience. Facebook owning the Rift now is huge. Almost everyone uses facebook to communicate these days and now with VR not only can you chat and message people but now they can set it up in a way where your actually meeting each other in a virtual Facebook world. It sounds crazy but I think the concept is really cool and futur...
I completely agree with Adam Orth in this article. Even here on N4G you can read through numerous comments of people with nothing but negativity on their minds. Yes Orth made a mistake with his comment deal with it, but the outrage that followed was totally unclled for. Even now people are still throwing that in his face a year later as if he hasn't suffered enough. Then you have the trolls and fanboys trying to destroy Ps4 and Xbox One. I think gamers take the concept of console war a li...
