Then obviously you don't know Microsoft.
Xbox One cost $500 in the USA which is $100 more than PS4. Now they cut the price in the UK to £400 with Titan Fall bundled which is still more than a PS4 at £349 which is still quite a bit of money. What I'm saying is nothing changes. The only way Xbox One can be priced competitively is to make the Kinect optional. Otherwise PS4 will continue to run circles around them.
Looks really cool to me.
2014 is gonna be a great year but I suspect it will be quite a few delays possibly well into 2015. There's just been so many AAA's announced that I feel many may get delayed just to avoid conflicting with the competition. Not too mention there are many games in development right now that haven't even been announced. For example if Sony were to drop a bomb and announce God Of War 4 will be available this holiday season, that alone could change everything.
I thought 2013 was a great gaming year too.
I wouldn't go as far as to say the price cut was brilliant. It was damned predictable if you ask me and I also feel they should do the same in the US. Right now PS4 is running circles around Xbox One, so this was bound to happen. However it is a step in the right direction even if Xbox One is taking a huge loss in the process.
No surprise here. Microsoft may as well come out and say the ideal resolution for xbox one is 720p. There really is no shame in that, the problem however is there seemingly inability to properly address to the public what the Xbox One is. If all there games are going to run at lower res and not be as graphically impressive as PS4 then they need to really start letting it be known what the Kinect can really do that justify's it costing an extra $100. Voice commands are okay and all but whe...
I think all the fuss of 1080p and 60fps is completely over blown for both PS4 and Xbox One. Obviously not every game will be able to handle that but that doesn't make the games any less enjoyable. People complain about those specs and haven't even seen or played the game or don't even own the hardware yet have an opinion. Seriously just how long is this debate going to go on? At this point when people cough up that $400 or $500 they should know exactly what their getting. The trut...
So far from all the reviews I've read this game is a disappointment. I don't usually pick games based only on reviews because even though a game is reviewed bad sometimes it's still enjoyable. Perhaps I'll check this one out once the price goes down.
I wouldn't call it a middle finger. I'm not really a fan of Xbox One but their not going to get anywhere by standing still. I think this move is a step in the right direction considering they have no intentions on parting ways with the Kinect. Sometimes things don't always go as planned, so they have to do what they must in order to improve their situation.
Obviously Microsoft and Sony will both have a lot to show at E3. I actually think this E3 will be much better than last E3.
I think Sony might finally reveal the VR their working on as well as compatible games.
I think they should have thrown in the Xbox One custom Titan Fall Console and Controller it probably would have sold like hot cakes. Yes they would have taken a loss on the bundles but the most important thing is moving the units. Sony gets it which is why PS4 is $400 and is selling as well as they are. Profits mean nothing when your not making enough sales.
So far this year things have been slow but I get the feeling that by E3 we're gonna see a lot of amazing new IP that haven't even been announced as of yet for both PS4 and Xbox One. I know that sounds a little Cliche, but that's how I see it.
I may be in the minority but I never expected PS4 to sell out so fast in Japan for 2 reasons...For one it is a late launch and the holiday rush is over, and two Japan is becoming more into portables and mobile. They will still do well I just dopn't think as good as many people originally thought.
Here's a list of almost all of them.

Obviously that's what they did but I'[m saying surely somethingm of that level can also be done on PS4 with ease.
That's pretty amazing how that tech can make an old game like Zelda almost look new again. It makes me wonder what made the Rift team say the PS4 and Xbone weren't powerful enough when they can run an 8 bit Nintendo game and it looks just fine.
"the camera-less version has just skyrocketed to the first place on the charts." It seems like no one gives a damn about the cameras. The problem is they add nothing to the gaming experience and are only useful for party games which many casuals still appear to be content with the Wii. It makes Xbox Ones Kinect proposition seem all the more out of place.
Lol, have they forgotten the PS3 came out a year after the 360 and still out sold them? The fact of the matter is the Xbox division isn't doing nearly as well as the fanboys will try and make you think.
