You bring up a good point and there's nothing wrong with having reasonable opinions. But nowadays I just see people nit-picking at the least little thing with games. Give the developers time to iron out the wrinkles. I just don't like it when people beat up on the devs for the least little thing. There's people that still hate on Titan Fall and Watch Dogs and have never even played them. I guess it seems the more hype a game has the more hate comes with it.
I just wish people could keep their opinions to themselves and just let the developers develop. I could see if the game has already been reviewed but it's not even out yet and people already hating. They did this same thing to both Titan Fall and Watch Dogs, and lo and behold they both turned out great despite all the hate. In my opinion The Order looks fantastic and seems to have a deep plot. I guess some people are just too busy being a critic to appreciate a good game.

Umm what exclusives? Other than Titan Fall and maybe Dead Rising for some, they don't have too many games worth mentioning.

From a technical standpoint I know the game isn't perfect, but being a native from Chicago I can't help but be proud of this game.
We should be happy..really? If anything Xbox fans should be thanking Sony because if not for them you wouldn't even be able to play used games on your Xbone.
It really is crazy. As big and wealthy as Microsoft is, you would think they could put together their own team of experts and won't always have to bail themselves out by buying properties. But to their credit they've been going through some leadership changes over the years so hopefully their on the right track now.
It really is getting annoying how these two consoles are constantly being compared. I mean seriously, all the nitpicking is just a pointless waste of time. Unless your actually playing these games side by side I seriously doubt you notice any difference. Whatever console you have just enjoy the game.
I have to admit this game and the Order are the 2 games that have me the most intrigued to get a PS4, and I'm a PC gamer.

Depending on the story it shouldn't be too bad of a thing. I remember when I 1st started playing Tomb Raider, I thought the story was a little too dark but in the end I loved the game and wanted to give it another play through.
See you have to understand this generation is a lot different. My child hood was very similar to yours. I still remember going outside playing freeze-tag and sports, then going in the house watching Rug Rats and Hidden Temple on Nickelodeon. It will sell some systems but truth be told Xbox One needed Halo at launch. I think even at $500 Halo might have allowed Xbox One to keep pace with PS4. Personally I don't care much for Halo but I understand it's very popular and desired among Xbox fans.
I agree with this article. It's time for 3rd parties to go all in on next gen. I understand the more platforms they make games for the more money they can make, but next gen is their future and 3rd parties need to help secure it, 1st parties can't do it all alone. It all depends on how Sony markets it and the games they have that support it at launch. They have to demonstrate just how amazing it really is to get people excited so they don't think it's just another 3D spin-off. I'm definitely on board because I understand exactly what it is, but the average consumer is easily confused. ( Some people still get the Wii and Wii U confused ) Obviously the price has to be right also.
Even if the graphics are on par with GTA5 that's really nothing to be ashamed of considering GTA5 is the best game graphically of Last gen completely maxed out. Personally in my opinion from what I've seen of the pics and videos there are elements that's on par with GTA5 and other elements that's far superior. I agree, everyone seems to be a critic these days, but I thought FarCry 3 was as good as it needed to be.
