I'm seeing a trend with Xbox. Microsoft sold almost as many 360's as they did Xbox One's, and their top selling game ( Watch dogs ) for Xbox One sold even better on 360. While that's still a win/ win for Microsoft as a whole they need to sell more Xbox One's. At this rate I'm not sure if they can close the gap between PS4 ( or the Wii U for that matter ), but at this point it's going to take a lot more than dumping the Kinect.
At least Phil's being honest, that's really all everyone's been asking Microsoft since the beginning. People aint so much had an issue with the hardware behind Xbox One, the issue has been how they try and bounce around the truth.
That's what you call a one trick pony.
@spacecat5050, I really don't think it's going to cost all that much even with the Move and PS Camera combined. PS move controllers run about $15, and the PS4 Camera cost a little over $50 bucks. That means they can easily bundle the PS4 camera and 2 Move controllers for well under $100.
I don't think Morpheus will be that expensive either as a standalone item. That's one of the reasons they chose to go LCD over the OLED because they are cheaper to manufacture...
I'm not really sure how Halo 5 will turn out without Bungie, and expectations are through the roof. Many are looking at Halo as the savior for Xbox One even more than Titan Fall. But there's always 2 sides to every coin. On one side if it meets or exceeds everyones expectations it will indeed be a system seller of epic proportions, but on the flip side if it fails it could have disastrous implications for the Xbox brand as a whole because Halo is hailed as the game that converted many...
That's what I meant by exclusive rights. If I meant exclusive I would have just said exclusive.
Sony was very wise to get exclusive rights on this game. That Destiny bundle with the White PS4 is going to be a system seller.
No actually I give Sony and Nintendo both a B. No one had a perfect show. I just feel Sony and Nintendo both had a better showing in terms of quality and innovation.
I felt Microsoft conference was pedestrian at best. Being that PS4 almost doubles their install base I was expecting a lot more. I was expecting to at least see some kind of new trailer for Halo 5 or Gears of War. And speaking of trailers most of what they shown was all CGI trailers. In terms of gameplay they really only showed a handful of games. Sunset Overdrive was their best game of the show and that really aint saying too much. I would count some of the 3rd party games but they will also...
I thought Nintendo had a nice show, only thing they were missing is 3rd party support but other than that, I enjoyed what they had to offer. Honestly, after E3 I don't think it's too late for Nintendo to turn things around with the Wii U. Now that some cool new games are coming out on top of what's already available, it looks a lot more attractive now. I think they would seriously benefit from a price drop and better marketing. There's a lot of cool little features in the Wii ...
You would get 8 million disagrees. lol
Well in Reggie's defense that's really all he could say unless he's willing to admit defeat. He can't say anything bold cause it will only add fuel to the fire. All he could say is that their still relevant in the race.
I really do have a feeling that this is going to be a huge seller for casuals. Considering the price of Playstation TV, if Sony can offer the PS Now service anywhere close to the Netflix service then they've found the sweet spot.
Kojima was also depressed by the PS3 version of GTA5. MGS5 and GTA5 are two completely different kinds of games, but I think Kojima is depressed more with what Rockstar has been able to accomplish with the franchise and how they continue to push the boundaries and set the bar high. I think he just feels like he can't keep up considering both games are in their 5th installment.
This game intrigued me quite a bit. Looking back at it, Nintendo really did have a great show. It kinda made me want to get a Wii U.
I won't go as far as to say they won E3 because I thought it was overall well balanced, but Nintendo scored a most needed victory in their own respects nonetheless. They have some very interesting games in development and even the Amibos their working on could be a huge hit among children. For the 1st time in a while with the Wii U, I get a sense that Nintendo has a direction and sometimes that's all you need.
This game looks amazing. Don't know wtf people are talking about.
I don't like delays but at the same time if it makes the game better in the end, then it was worth the wait. I'd rather wait a year to play a great game than wait a month and it turns out to be trash.
Wow, that Kinect sure seems like more trouble than it's worth.
He gave his honest opinion and Nintendo's own view of how they see VR and you have to respect that. With that being said every single person has their own opinion and feelings towards VR, and on some levels I agree with him and others I don't. I for one have been looking forward to this for a long time, but I also don't think this is suitable for all types of gaming. I think some games are just meant to be played on a screen in chill mode, and others I think VR would only make the...
