Even though I haven't played TitanFall I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. The unfortunate thing for Titan Fall is the hype for it was too great to match. Not too mention it launched during a time when Xbox One backlash was in full force and was advertised to be the savior. I honestly think if it would have released on all platforms it would have been a lot more successful and wouldn't have such a bad rep. Now when they come out with part 2 not even half as ...
Thx
Exactly, and that's not even just in video games. Whoever leads the market has all the control. With the 360 Microsoft lead the market and were able to control it as they saw fit. They got away with murder in that gen but it wasn't as big a deal because more people had 360's anyway and didn't care. Now PS4 is leading the market but Microsoft is still trying to control it but as you said there's a bigger reaction because more people have PS4's. Microsoft is just going t...
That Tomb Raider deal makes no sense, not for Microsoft or Square. It feels like they're taking away from gamers. Tomb Raider was one of the 1st games I ever played on PlayStation and fell in love with it all over again on PS3. Now you mean to tell me it's timed-exclusive for Xbox One? That just doesn't seem right. I guess both Microsoft and Square was getting desperate and took a chance but I don't see how this pays off for either party in the long run unless Microsoft paid t...
"think i'll wait and see what others make of it first."
How about using your own judgement and deciding for yourself? If others say jumping off a bridge is cool would you do it?
I don't think they've ever been cool, but HearthStone is addictive. I never thought I would get into card games but that one just reeled me in. Don't knock it till you try it.
They said their goal was to destroy Sony once and for all. Their motto is some lizards just want to see the world burn. Need I explain more?
Anyone who's dumb enough to come forward with this ( even if their innocent ) deserves to be locked up.
Exactly, I still remember when the Dreamcast came out. I found out by browsing through a game magazine "Electronic Gaming Monthly" at a grocery store. In that Magazine they had Sonic Adventure, Shenmue, Soul Calibur, Power Stone, Skies of Arcadia, Hydro Thunder, Gauntlet Legends, and my mind was blown. I went to school and all my friends was talking about it too. We wasn't concerned with specs and didn't even know what resolution was. All we knew is that some amazing looking...
I'm glad these devs aren't giving out too much information. Just like Kojima stealthily revealed Silent Hills. To me the internet is ruining a lot of the magic in video games. So much talk about Res and fps and then the media analyzes the hell out of the game, and it doesn't help when the comment sections are littered with negativity. All of this before you even get a chance to formulate your own opinion.
It was better in the 90's when all gamers did was read ...
Doesn't seem like the Lizard Crew are going away easily. I never quite could understand the aim behind these hacker attacks. They say their reasoning is PC master race, and on their site it says some lizards just want to watch the world burn. So pleading for peace is out of the question. Sony's just gonna have to start using some of that money their making from PS Plus to hunt these guys down and make them go away one way or the other.
They're getting the exact same games as Xbox One besides MCC and Sunset Overdrive. Other than that as far as exclusives scheduled to release this year they have the following: InFamous First Light, Drive Club, Helldivers, Planetside 2, LittleBigPlanet 3, MotoGP 14, Deep Down, H1Z1, and a lot of indie titles. Most of their major releases won't be out until 2015.
Bonks Adventure, the forgotten mascot.
Resolution isn't really the issue. The bottom line is Xbox One games are harder to develop for than PS4. The same as it was harder to develop for PS3 than it was for 360, accept in both cases the PS3 was more powerful than 360 and PS4 is more powerful than Xbox One. With PS3 only in 1st party games like God of War and Uncharted was the performance gap made noticeable while 3rd party games actually looked better on 360 at times due to PS3 being difficult for devs. Now with PS4 the tables a...
@DoubleM70, Microsoft should be thankful Sony isn't buying exclusivity to games outright. If they were then it would be game over for Xbox One. As it is PS4 already has more exclusives from 1st and second parties coming out next year, all of which look very impressive even from the indie teams. Then the majority of the multiplats look better on PS4 and are better optimized whereas in Xbox one's case Phil Spencer has to plead with devs ( and maybe even throw more cash in their pockets ...
The title says top 5. How can you make a top 5 list without even mentioning the top 2?
Umm whatever happened to Luigi and Tails? They're only the sidekicks to two of the most memorable system sellers of all time.
I think Nintendo should lower the price to help expand it's install base. Sure they'll lose out a little for each unit sold, but will make up for it through increased software sales. It's one of those things where you have to take 1 step backward to move 2 steps forward. Imagine if they lowered the price when MK8 came out, Wii U's would have been selling like hotcakes. They have yet another opportunity to turn the needle with Super Smash Brothers and I think they should take i...
It really is a beautiful and imaginative game. I always wanted to play it when it was on Vita but never wanted to actually invest in a Vita. So now being on PS4 this is perfect.
"microsoft is helping the game reach a higher quality" If Microsoft wanted to help Tomb Raider reach a higher quality then they would have just let it launch on all platforms. It would be in higher Quality on PS4 and PC just as it was with the 1st TR with only Xbox One dragging behind at 900p 30fps.
"you only take away from your self by owning one console" I don't even own a PS4 yet. I just call it how i see it. I do most of my gaming on PC and see no ...
