It doesn't help that they have no TGS show or anything.
I think the Author is jumping the gun a little. The same thing that's happening now is the same thing that's happened in every other generation. Not everyone immediately runs out and buys the next gen console right away because the games catalog is still premature. However when you look at the sales of PS4 alone already at 10 million under a year old which is the fastest rate any console has ever sold, then if anything it's more likely people are jumping ship sooner than ever. Th...
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Sunset Overdrive on PS4 or PC in the future. Microsoft's exclusives just don't seem to have any sticking power.
If they made a PS4 Spyro that my friend would be a Megaton.
I think being a launch title really hurt Killzone. Trying to make that launch deadline didn't do it too many favors. They probably would have delayed it to give it more polish but after Drive Club and Watch Dogs both got delays, they didn't have much of a choice. So overall it turned out to be a good game but I think with more time it could have been great.
The Japanese are very high on new tech. I think Morpheus is gonna be huge in Japan.
Tokyo Game Show, just you wait. ;)
Good God! Persona 5, Dragon Quest Heroes, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy IV, Silent Hills, Yakuza 0, Metal Gear Solid V, Grand Turismo 7, Disgaea 5, RE Revelations 2, etc. now yet another conference? Sony means business in Japan.
I feel like they should have scrapped this game a long time ago and just started a new project instead.
I'm still a little pissed about Tomb Raider but this is a good start.
This isn't even TGS lol
One of my most anticipated games next year. I've been waiting a long time for a new Megaman. If Capcom can't deliver then who else better than the creator himself? I think at this point Megaman only exists in name alone but the spiritual successor is Mighty Number 9.
I think this remaster is being made for the same reason the Last of Us was. For PS4 owners that didn't own a PS3. I never got to play this game but it always looked interesting to me. So a remaster is right up my alley.
I think almost every game they have coming out is a system seller for certain people. That white Ps4 Destiny bundle is one of them, Drive Clubs a system seller for racing fans, MGSV is a system seller for fans of that series, etc. I still think Sony has yet to announce that one big Megaton that people are waiting for. The only one I know of for a fact is Uncharted 4 which will look amazing.
It does look good but is only a preview. We won't know for sure how good these games coming out are until they've been reviewed. They can have beautiful graphics and a great artistic direction but have poor controls or bad camera angles, etc. Not saying it's going to be bad but dont get overly excited from every preview that you see.
It's a good list but I don't consider Destiny, Bloodborne, or Dying Light as RPG's. They have RPG elements but that doesn't make them RPG's.
It's more of an action platformer than RPG.
I don't really think it will ever past the Wii U. It doesn't help that they'll never make any ground in Japan, but overall they average about the same sales as the Wii U globally. yeah you can make the case that it could change once Halo and Gears come out, but the same could be said of Wii U once Smash Bros and Nintendo's other games start coming.
100% agree with you. Man I really enjoyed Tomb Raider so much that I played it over a second time. Something seriously has to give with this timed exclusive crap. They should have rules in place that certain games are just off limits. It's not fair to release a game on every platform thats fans happen to love and then suddenly make the sequel timed exclusive for one platform for a pay check. That just doesn't sit well with me and seems greedy for all parties involved. For this reason ...
One thing I've learned about Microsoft over the years is that unlike every other company not even just in gaming they have no fight. They just don't have the ability to create for themselves or innovate. The only way they know how to win is by buying off other property's just like they did with Tomb Raider and every other timed exclusive they have. And when they don't have an answer to an obvious problem ( like support in Japan ) they just go silent and pretend like everything...
