There's a lot of good games coming out in October. This one is definitely on my radar.
This particular feature on other phones would not benefit Sony at all. It will only help further draw potential customers away from their own phones. Now the online TV service their working on and PS Now is another story entirely because they actually make money off the service.
It's about time Sony is ramping up their marketing efforts. The Z3 is a damn good phone but not too many people know much about it. They need to do the same in the US. It works for Apple, works for Samsung, certainly it should work for Sony who in my opinion has arguably the best phone of 2014.
That would actually make a lot of sense. Between PS Now and the online TV service they have coming out, they have a real opportunity to make a splash in the market. Considering Sony's financial situation this could be just the thing they need. Even with these services on Bravia's and Xperia's it will only cater to a small percentage of the market, that is those that's willing to buy their hardware. But if they can offer these services through Samsung, LG, Apple, etc. then they...
I also predict in 3 years we won't even need VR. Just take a magic pill and you'll be instantly teleported inside your favorite game. One side effect to that though is the effects are permanent so you won't be able to return to reality ever.
The character with the blond hair looks a lot like Cloud.
It will be wildly popular give or take in 2 years. Project Morpheus is gonna be a hit among PlayStation fans and there's a lot of us. Of course VR has potential for much more than just gaming but still gaming is ultimately what's going to make it take off, and when it comes to gaming Sony is among the best in the entire industry.
Just listening to Carmack discuss the hurdles and difficulties they're having working with Samsung and mobile technology leads me to believe that Sony's not as far behind in the race for VR as some people think. There is a clear benefit to working with dedicated hardware and while it may not be as powerful as PC, the unchanging nature of consoles should make it easier to do VR than say a Samsung Galaxy. The PS4 is powerful enough for an enjoyable experience, and they already have moti...
The problem is the hype of these games far exceed the bottomline. Some of these games get way overblown and when it finally comes out it feels half-assed. This is supposed to be a new generation and gamers just want next gen quality. but so far there isn't a single game that's come out that couldn't have been done on previous gen.
Looking at Sony's current financial situation they need to be pumping out games like never before even godlike. I love PlayStation I really do but the company behind it is on the verge of going bankrupt. If they don't figure out some kind of solution for that Smartphone and TV situation I fear the worse as doors are starting to close for them. They do have a couple things coming up with the potential to turn things around such as PS Now, the online TV deal they made with Viacom, and P...
It has been a lackluster year and it really didn't surprise me in the least. Whenever new consoles launch there's always an adjustment period for developers and gamers alike. I think what makes this adjustment seem so bad is that neither PS4 or Xbox One have backwards compatibility.
It was easy taking the jump from PS1 to Ps2 because all your old games still functioned and developers were still able to pump out some amazing PS1 games at the last minute because they kn...
It's Chocobos not chickens man, Chocobos lol
I agree just for your avatar lol
I don't know maybe I'm just old school but I been gaming since the nes days with Super mario Bros/ Duck hunt and Double Dragon as the 1st games I ever played. It's sad to see people constantly attacking these consoles because at it's heart it's all supposed to be fun and games literally. PlayStation fans act like they wanna see Xbox burn at the stake, and Xbox fans act like they wanna see Sony go bankrupt. I'm not trying to be the voice of reasoning but that's just...
Looks like Microsofts cologne commercial worked a little lol
I'm really looking forward to getting my mittens on this one. It's been a long time since Iv'e looked forward to a new Call of Duty game but this one has caught my attention. The multiplayer modes just look sick.
How about a Tenchu Stealth Assassins remaster? Now that's taking it back.
Well I actually think Xbox One is going to end the year really well. They have some nice bundles coming up, and Halo MCC is going to be a hit for them possibly their 1st true system seller. Not to mention Halo 5 and the new Gears will be huge for them as a lot of 360 fans have fond memories of those series. However I think PS4 will continue to outpace them for the simple fact they have a very sizeable catalog of great games coming next year, at least 1 every month from both 1st party and 3rd....
I don't think this move has anything to do with Sony, especially since Minecraft will still be coming out on PlayStation consoles. Considering how much it cost them they have to have bigger plans. As far as what that plan is, your guess is as good as mine. However I do suspect it has a lot to do with the direction they're trying to go with Windows.
That's Sony's biggest problem and IMO the main reason their struggling in the industry. It's not the products themselves, they just under advertise everything they make. All accept for PS4 and look at how good that turned out. I've yet to see an Xperia Z3 or Bravia advertisement, but Apple and Samsung are all over the place. Even LG and HTC are doing a much better job at marketing. Sony needs to step their marketing game up seriously because that's whats hurting them.
