Everything about Sword & Shield screams half baked rush job. If this is the best Gamefreak can manage, they should just go back to 3DS exclusives.
@xenz:
Have you never heard of rechargable AAs? <$20 for a 4 pack of them. 2 in the controller, 2 plugged into the charger on stand-by. 40-50 hours of playtime vs 8-10, and when they do run out of juice, it takes 5 seconds to swap them for the stand-by set. They will last 10+ years, and when they do eventually bite it, you can buy another set and be good for another 10+ years. No need to spend $60 on an entire new controller just because the battery crapped out. You also...
Can we please stop asking a question that has been asked and answered like 20 times already? A "What happened to Agent" article has been popping up like every 6 months for the past 8 years. It is dead and gone, the end.
Looks like it might be a visual adventure where you just explore to observe the wildlife.
Not forgetting, just not counting it, since it is highly unlikely the output will be worth the input, especially for Mythics.
Being able to trade for other more useful legends/mythics would be much better.
Gave up believing in human intelligence when i was 10.
It would destroy the economy by not allowing people to buy or sell anything that actually matters end game. Fairly straight forward. Imagine having an inventory full of legendaries or mythics that you do not personally need, and having no other options than to just throw them out becuase the game won't let you trade them. Anything you find that does not benefit your own character would have no value to you.
If they are really only concerned about RMT, then simply make i...
@LeeFender:
So you would rather they completely destroy the player driven economy, which is a major part of dungeon crawlers, just so some peoples weak minds can be assured that other players are not part of the 1% who buy their gear in RMTs? (As if it would even make a functional difference to your ability to play the game).
He does not have horrible understanding of game design, you are just a simpleton who looks for the easy and sacraficial way through...
"The general idea is that there will be three different types of items: those that can be traded freely as many times as one wishes, those that can only be traded once, and then the highest power level items, which will not be tradeable at all."
Screw that crap. Either make everything tradable or just cancel the entire game. Nobody wants this garbage.
Started playing D2 about a month after it came out. Probably clocked upwards of 30,000 hours on it, playing off and on over ~15 years. I am looking forward to immortal. Guess i am just more open minded than most "gamers" these days. I do not automatically disregard a game just because of the platform it is on.
News to me. Haven't had any issues.
He is refering to influence. He does not have the same level of influence to get pubs to do what he wants. Kojima has reached a point where he can pretty much do whatever he wants with a game and still have a major pub support it without complaint. If he wanted a game on another platform, in most cases he could get away with forcing the issue.
Well crap. Looks like it might just be a remake of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale 2. Quite the cruel tease if true.
In order of reference:
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
RFOM
Legend of Dragoon (HELL YES, finally)
Ape Escape ?
Twisted Metal
Silent Hills
Wander Lands ?? (Unsure of this one)
Syphon Filter
Demon Souls
MGS
Ico
I think there might be a couple repeat references to help get the point across. Listed in order of firsts.

A return to manual stat dist and proper skill trees. Charms, Runewords, & player trading. Removal of tailored and private loot.
Aidyn Chronicles.
Assuming they are charging full price for the remaster, then i do not see it being an issue if it takes sales from D4. They will be making the same amount of money from those who buy the D2 remaster instead of D4, and twice as much from those who decide to buy both. It will also being in a ton of positive publicity if they do it properly, which lets be honest, Blizzard could use all the positive publicity they can get right now.
If they only do D4, unless they do a hell of...
If it feels unnatural to you, then you have messed up hands. Human hands are not asymetric, why should the controller be?
Been available for a couple years now.
