Just do a chargeback, then report them to the FTC for credit fraud.
Another detail to take note of, 8GB Vram on a 55GB install. Game is either tiny as sh!t, or is reusing so many assets even Bethesda would Spock eye it.
Welcome to the Avant-garde genre of video games.
Lets be real here. WoW was the beginning of the MMO industry going to shit. If only EQ Next hadn't been cancelled.
Skygerfall? Really? Daggrim would have been a much better name.
@FlyingFoxy: The animations were much better in the Genesis version also.
@Necrum: That is the general concensus, yes.
The Genesis version is far superior.
Then by the same logic, it does not need new multiplayer content either.
If they are going to continue developing content for the game, it should be story content. Undead Nightmare 2 needs to happen.
I said half burried, as in they should be 10 feet under, but blind brand loyalty keeps digging them back up and saving them from repeated mistakes.
Rockstar has been a broken, dead, and half burried company for a while now. People need to stop buying their sh!t.
This is assuming everyone who ever plays the game starts prior to the DLC release. What about the people whoes first character is one of the DLC characters? Gaige was probably the second most popular character in BL2, after Sal.
I personally have every class in BL2 at max level, on UVHM, and regularely play them all.
I do not normally bother with collectors editions, but this is just too cool to pass up.
The free handouts on EGS are done solely by Epic, not the developer of the game. Epic still has to pay the dev their cut of the normal retail cost, out of pocket. By using the EGS just for the free stuff, you are actually taking money from Epic.
@CaptainOmega:
The first "episode" (Midgar) has already been confirmed to be on 2 Blu-ray disks. Not just 1. The full final release will be 6-8 Blu-rays. They have also said that each episode of the remake would be similar in length to one of the FF XIII entries, so 60+ hours, vs around 35 hours for the entire original game. It is completely unreasonable to expect all 3 parts in a single $60 release.
@Twinblade:
That is not physically possible though, unless they go with option 2 and cut a large amount of planned content.
The first part is already going to be 2 full blu-ray disks. With all the content they are adding, the game cannot fit in a single release. What you are asking for would require one of 2 things-
1: The game takes another 3-4 years to release, launches on atleast 6 disks, and still costs $200 due to the number of disks, essentially no difference other than having to wait several more years before playing any of it.
2: 60-70% of the planned content for the game gets cut, and n...
V & XII are both good games. II, X-2, XIII, XIII-2, LR & XV are all worse though.
Simply being able to buy it at a reasonable price makes it worth it. The stupid limited release GS exclusivity BS killed the potential of the original release.
Gamestop themselfs were supposedly removing new copies from the wrap and selling them as used so they could jack up the price.
Probably trying to kill PSNPatch.
That is exactly my point. Think about it. Requiring 8GB of Vram means the game is loading up to 8GB worth of files into Vram at once. Given that Vram is primarily used for textures, how much of that 55GB do you think is taken up by just textures, assuming the game is not recycling assetts and pre-loading all the games textures into Vram. A 100GB install with 4GB Vram would be far less likely to be recycling as they would have far more space for reserve textures, without digging into install s...
