However he has stated (in another tweet mind you) that it is possible and they are having server issues, so people should wait until they get their bearings before crucifying them. Now if the pseudo multiplayer comes out at the same time a patch is released, that would be laughable.
I think hes saying he doesnt feel it is a 60 dollar game as is, which is why he would not give additional dlc money just to complete the experience.
I gave him a disagree because of 2 reasons. 1) There will still be free dlc which could add the things hes upset about, and 2) I dont know what said premium dlc would be, if it makes the game more like rebel galaxy then im all in.

It is very impressive. On top of this, think of the amount of man hours that would go into this game if you had an overarching story spanning across quintillions of planets lol. I think by improving the social aspects of the game so you can essentially have Galaxy "hubs" where people can meet and embark on adventure will put this game on another level.
I actually agree with this review. There's not a lot of life in the game. I can see how so many people were wishing for a rebel galaxy like experience on an epic scale, that's what I was hoping for. The game is not bad, just not what wanted. No ones fault but my own.

All games shipped with glitches, even in the 8bit era. We are just at a point with technology where we can download patches to fix said glitches. Expect more of this as games become more complex. I actually welcome it as long as it's free. However patching a story line in is unacceptable.
The race is to the center of the universe not galaxy. Sean already confirmed this on the ign interview. He stated there are numerous galaxies. Galaxy and universe were intermingled due to simple mix up and Hello games thought it was funny and continued to mix them per interview.
The reasoning behind not waiting for the patch is dumb. 99.9% of the people playing this game will never play the version you have reviewed, Meaning your review will only be valid for like a day...

Ff12 and 13 are trash. 1-3 (us) and 7 are the most memorable. 12 allowed you to automate yourself out of battle and the story dragged on. The characters were very forgettable to the point where you don't even know their names lol!!
I really think the tracks are whats holding it back. It just need more variety in that area and removal of the invisible barriers. If they let the player run off course for a couple of seconds then reset it would go a long way imo.
Hah... the game was a shell of what Chrono Trigger was. Chrono Trigger fully engages you from the beginnning. You actually cared about what happened in the story. This game was dry from the beginning, lacking originality and merely stands on the shoulders of giants hoping people see it as a legitimate jrpg. Early release could have been blessing in disguise if they were able to clean up some bugs and balance the game before the reviews came out.

Im wondering how they can keep planet deformation local. Say for example I do meet another player and we go to a near by planet, mine is completely destroyed while his is intact? How would that work?
Or better yet, if they said multiplayer was like journey in that youll see people in passing, would I see someone walking where land used to be on my local planet, thus they could potentially be sky walking?! That would be awesome..

Xbox literally launched 1 exclusive this year. 1. I can shit on Scorpio with a 5k PC, but if my library is made up of indies whose the real sucker?
