This game is way better than 2.8. Its like a 7.5, 8. The reason being is the story is pretty hilarious (so far). The game play mechanics are somewhat of a miss, but the story is adult in nature (for example you make a potion for an Orc mob boss to "last longer" in bed, but hes toldits lotion and rubs it on his you know what, to ill consequences), the King looks like Bill Murray (full point by itself), and they have all sorts of parodies that will crack you up.
this has nothing to do with xbox. Most of the titles coming out are disappointments. Hopefully sony is taking notice.
Anyone considering buying a new television should wait until 2020.

HDR is a standard. There are currently 3 different hdr standards. Dolby vision, hdr10 and hlg.
Oled / led are technologies. They both implement none/some/all of the hdr standards.

Horizon has pretty colors, but it lacks car details. It also get boring quickly since it's just a large sandbox game. Drive club still has yet to be beat in terms of graphics.
If you have the patience and money, wait till this time next year. Panasonics oled will be available. It's already getting rave reviews over lg oled at Ces and if a 2016.
I've got an eg9600 and unless it's a fighting game you don't notice the lag. I'm even upscaling through the Xbox but it's still very acceptable.

It's HDR that makes uhd so special. It's literally a night and day difference. Bluray can't compare when HDR is in the mix.
These pics will be just as vibrant on the og ps4 because of hdr. This is not a ps pro only feature. stick with og ps4 until pro is an absolute must have.
Xbox one s is the better value on paper line by line. On top of that their aggressive pricing (I was able to get one this week for 250 at target) will have them on top. Because there aren't enough games coming out to separating them, IMO the ps slim should come down in price but we all know that is not going to happen.

the original ps4 can do 4k if it was running nes titles. its not moving the goal post, its wondering if the pro can do 4k native on current generation titles, not games that are 5+ years old.

When I go to the store I'd be dropping 400 dollars, not 100. So to me it's got to be worth 400 more dollars to justify switching.
It'll be the framerate difference that wins me over but I'll probably wait til there are more games that show the difference.
