I think lost in all this is that it was originally going to be a last gen title...
I feel Destiny 2 will be the real leap forward.
@Palitera
You're missing the point. Neither of those games are online only and have focused offline single player campaigns.
The lead developer at 2k made some comments last year about how much he and his team preferred the PS4.
Just seems like an internal decision...and one that coincides well with the current console market.
You'll really show them by buying an inferior game!
This whole mindset is hilarious to begin with. I see a bunch of people who aren't happy with certain aspects of 2k saying they're going to go to Live...although they haven't released a playable game in 5 years.
Just doesn't make sense.
You shut your mouth about Sleeping Dogs!
There's just something...off about EA's new Ignite engine. The physics behind it are great, but it doesn't have the same realistic look of NBA 2K.
Really wish 2K could get the NFL license back.
It sure as hell was "one of the best of last gen".
I enjoyed it more than Uncharted 3.
Looks like I have a reason to get a X1 now...
Also a sequel but not annual...I really think Far Cry 4 will be the top contender if it lives up to it's potential.
Looks spectacular so far and has some interesting ideas re: multiplayer/co-op.
I've already played through the game twice and didn't encounter a single bug.
Is it more of a MP issue? Maybe I just got lucky.
Yessss.
My personal favourite open world game from last gen.
Really loved the characters in this one as well. Fantastic soundtrack (loved how they hand selected certain tracks to play on the radio for missions, don't change the station when you're on a mission!)
I could never bring myself to play these on my 360 after seeing what it looked like on PC.
Will happily pick this up for the ole PS4. Should tide me over until Destiny drops.
@Sketchy_Galore LOL
That assassin gives new meaning to the term "hidden blade".
It should exist more than this article should.
I have a hard time believing anyone can play this and not immediately realize how huge 60 fps is to the experience. I enjoyed this exponentially more on my remastered play through.
Hmm.
I'm torn.
I don't consider it the best gameplay experience...but it's the best 'gaming experience'.
That will make sense to some and not to others. Either way, Naughty Dog is flat out incredible. Can't wait for Uncharted 4.
I know some keep saying it's the same game...but damn does it ever feel completely different at 60 fps. The gun play is just so damn good now, while I felt it took away from the experience on ps3.
I get why ND made a point to say they can't go back now. I feel like they'll do whatever they can to ensure UC4 runs at 60 fps for as much of the game as possible, even if it's not a solid lock like this was.
I don't think you're baiting...it's just an odd thing to say. Infinite did have a great story, but that doesn't mean it was the best Bioshock story.
I think most people agree that the first game is the definitive game in the series, from both a gameplay and storytelling perspective.
Just as the original did, Infinite's story stood out from the pack of all other releases around it (until TLOU dropped, at least).
Yeah, it's like the complete opposite of how other commenters review you everywhere.
This article existing makes me sad.
But the authors tears make me happy.
I'm so conflicted.
You missed my Raptors!
Resigned all our big FAs, under rated pick ups with Lou Will (a 2k beast) and James Johnson, plus another year of experience for the young core (DeMar, Ross, Jonas, Patterson) + guys in their prime (Lowry, Amir).
Plus Ross is already a 2k star in the mold of Nick Young/JR Smith.
It's likely a year away still, no reason to show anything this early.
