will do; I'm building an indie wishlist on Steam - just bumped this to the front of the queue. (",)

Definitely a high point; they actually motion captured a horse.

Going by Rockstar’s current 5 year cycle, we should be seeing a teaser trailer shortly, with the next Red Dead launching late 2015. I can’t wait. The only real debate is what ‘R-word’ they will use:
-Retribution
-Renaissance
-Resolution
Any other suggestions?

Same here; I've never used any weapon in the whole Monster Hunter franchise other than the Great Sword.

Only just found my beta invite (Gmail had put it in my spam folder!) so missed out this time.

Looking forward to some dedicated Dark Souls II co-op in 2014.

Nice blog; it’s good to reminisce every once in a while.

Insofar as replaying old classics, I never stray further back than the mid 90’s. Anything from the 8bit era is insanely difficult to revisit and just sullies my rose tinted memories of childhood gaming.

Experience has taught me a valuable lesson: nostalgia can be a lying bitch.

As they have done with previous titles, Rockstar will be supporting GTA5 for at least the next 18 months, releasing patches and DLC.

Now is the perfect time to get into the platform; there are some amazing bargains to be had online.

I'm currently ranking up in Monster Hunter on my 3DS with the intention of taking my crossplay save file online with my new Wii U.

Plus, with the recent launch of Pikmin3 and some amazing announcements in the latest Nintendo Direct, there's never been a better time to trade up.

FYI: This review is also published on my personal blog. I recently picked up a Wii U for £124 and ZombiU for £15, which is a bargain considering what the launch price was for the original bundle.
My Wii Username is "Jurat" - feel free to add me on MiiVerse so that we can loot each other's cold, dead, wandering, cadavers (",)

Thanks for the clarity; I’ve got a stack of titles I need to review over the coming weeks.

I’m also happy to volunteer my proof-reading services to the community.

Any bloggers who would like me to cast my peepers over their content before submission, feel free to PM me.

Good review. This was my 2012 GOTY for the Vita.

I loved the art direction; Hekseville is a beautifully rendered floating version of fin de siècle Paris. Just wandering around it soaking up the sights and sounds was worth the price of admission.

I had a similar experience with this title.

The ‘precision click’ is the one gesture that doesn’t work on the PS Vita’s rear touchpad; unfortunately, it’s also the most important mechanic in the game.

I have really enjoyed the Beta so far.

Playing on both platforms, but I'm genuinely blown away by how well the PS3 handles such a full-on RPG experience.

I play with Dualshock and wirelss mouse / keyboard combo on the couch. Works seamlessly.

Won't put too much effort into Phase3 though if they're wiping char data.

Good review; thanks for sharing. Solid 9 for me too.

I was hoping someone would show some love for this title; releasing at the same time as The Last of Us gave 360 owners something to get their teeth into.

I don't need to post my review now. You got it all covered.

I worry that Team Rocket is trying too hard to reinvent the wheel - building a game from the ground up even though the mod already had solid foundations. The community has taken DayZ in so many exciting directions over the past 12 months that the standalone may not hold their attention for long.

Worst case scenario: we all buy the standalone – making Rocket, et al, rich - then quietly disperse and go back to playing our own preferred flavours of DayZ in the private hives.

This makes me happy

Hey coolbeans.
I forgot how much I enjoy writing these reviews.
The game is split into 10 sections, with 10 levels in each. Play through time was only a few hours, which was perfect on the go.
There's also been a dlc pack released on the PSN store (Benjamin's Flight) which I'll be checking out.

As someone who has championed indie games for years, I always loved Microsoft’s support for solo/small dev teams through its XBLA marketplace.

However, and I don’t know if anyone can confirm/deny this, I’ve been hearing that they’re pulling the plug on this initiative, thereby making it harder for indies to self publish.
