I think this is the most accessible version of MH for new players.
The Rise demo runs surprisingly well on my launch Switch. Looking forward to release.
No surprise that Nintendo occupies the top 5 positions (and 6 out of the top 10 overall).
For me, the Gameboy Advance SP (the later AGS101 model with the backlit screen). Massive library of amazing games and backwards compatible with the the OG Gameboy and Gameboy Colour catalogue. Still use mine daily.
This is more interesting than the main article. Any useful guides you could link to?
What games, though?
Serious question. Does it have any platform exclusives at launch? for me, it's all about the games.
Some guy built one with a Swiss Army Knife. #legend
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories had a great feature on the Wii - you held the Wii mote like a cell phone and voicemail messages were piped through the tinny speaker every so often. Spooky as hell.
PS - I love that controller theme.
Yes, that definitely looks like a controller designed by Google.
Seems like a bit of leap to make that claim; consoles overheat and die all the time. I guess it's just fashionable at the moment to dump on this IP (I've not played it, so don't have an opinion either way)
I've had consoles die in the past (My OG PS3 bricked during the ending scenes of The Unfinished Swan), happens all the time.
We're all winners this year!
2018 was great for gamers!
2018 has been a vintage year, but Red Dead Redemption 2 is my GOTY - such a cinematic experience that I can easily forgive the minor issues that crop up.
Wishing everyone in the N4G community a happy and healthy Christmas and all the best for 2019
A new Animal Crossing has been confirmed for 2019.
"Do you guys not have phones?"
Jason Rohrer
A great indie developer who is, in many ways, a pioneer of his craft. I have thoroughly enjoyed every game he has released since 2005. His games deal with real life issues and he has some powerful themes running through his body of work. He has enjoyed critical and commercial success on more than one occasion, but I still feel he is deserving of much more.
It's super popular because it's free. Rolling out a store platform to a huge install base doesn't mean it will be successful - many of those users will have very little purchasing power.
Confused by question so will answer Phil Fish
Both Under- and Over- rated. Highly divisive.
I honestly don't think Sony cares - they're riding Nintendo's coat tails; this was a quick cash grab for them during the holiday season.
Elite: Dangerous
The original and best space sim. Backed the kickstarter in 2012 and Frontier Developments have stayed true to their original goal - to keep the game updated with ever changing expansions. I play this game full sim - a VR headset; a HOTAS system; a tactile transducer in my gaming chair. It truly feels like I'm piloting my own star ship; it never gets old.
My sentiments exactly. Given Nintendo's kneejerk reactions to these kinds of projects, it would far better to go dark until the title is ready for distribution. Then release it, let it proliferate throughout the community enough so that it can be shared and enjoyed. Oh well, I hope I get to try this out someday.
All these PS5 owners rubbing it in.
