I have played Wii Fit, and although it isn't an entirely unpleasant experience I don't rate it highly as a game.
It was fun with a couple of friends for a while (comparing BMIs, playing some of the balance mini games), but it in no way compares to real games like Metroid or Okami.
It's entertainment true but it's a shallow, throw away experience that kills a few hours for a laugh, before you want to sit down and put some real time into a proper game like Zelda or Mario G...
Wii Fit = no they don't.
Edit: American Football isn't my thing, but if you say Madden 09 is good then I'll take your word for it.
Wii Fit on the other hand - nope.
Ugh!
There is proof right here that sales does not equal good games.
Next time there is an argument between FBoys talking sales numbers and trying to say that:
Monster sales = Great game: then point them to this list.
Okami Wii - low sales - great game
Wii Fit - Loads of sales - crap game.
Mario Kart Wii - Loads of sales - Not a bad game, but not brilliant. I won't disrespect it as I know lots of people enjoy i...
"Not to mention, Activison's server support for CoD4 on the PS3 was pure crap, and lag/latency issues abound."
Really? I've never had issues like that with CoD4 on my PS3.
I've had dropped connections, but never lag or latency issues.
Have you got a poor connection or something?
May???
Great! (That's a sarcastic great - so all the little kids that use this site understand me. I'm not happy about that.) Originally, wasn't it supposed to be out this year? Then it was pushed back to March ... and now May?!
I suppose this is because you can't run a beta on a Wii. They'll have to get the game perfect before they ship. It's not like they can patch it after.
No one had heard of Media Molecule before LBP...
...so Blue Castle could turn out OK.
...they could also turn out utter sh1t, in which case, forget I even spoke(wrote).
For Mortal Kombat "Finish him!" was the most well known, but I always preferred:
"Toasty!"
Um funny, yeah. Hilarious may be a stretch.
For hilarity I prefer cracked, but they don't often submit video game related humour ... except today.

BTW I just thought I'd add my theory to the reason spoony was used.
Not saying I'm right, just my two cents.
Spoony has been around in English Slang for ages. It means lucky.
So the character is basically saying:
Tellah: you lucky bard!
Maybe the translator was an Englishman and thought he'd stick spoony instead of lucky or fluky. (I guess that version of the story wouldn't be as interesting though.)
And now we have to see if the GOW3 in game footage looks as good as the CGI trailer.
I doubted Sony would pull it off with Killzone 2, but they have.
Bravo!
Now give us GOW3 in game!
Perfect Dark was sweeeeeeet!
Didn't like the alien shooting parts as much as the people shooting parts.
Shooting people feels better somehow - don't ask me why.
The lighting in PD at the time were great and the Pro Logic Sound for explosions was really cool too.
Ahh... I remember playing that on my first home cinema set-up.
Why has Nintendo never progressed past Dolby Pro logic since the N64?
Anyway I digress ... great game!
Was...
That happened to me in my senior year with Goldeneye!
I want to know how the Beta only comes to half a gig!
Look at those high res textures. They're amazing.
The Bioshock demo was nearly 2gig and this is only 500Mg or so.
Is the beta just much smaller do you think? (I don't know I'm not in it) Or are the maps quite small?
Maybe those pictures aren't real, maybe they are mock-ups, bullshots, maybe some of them are PC shots ... whatever... I don't know I've not played either version.
All I know is those pictures of the c*ckroaches look WAY WAY better in the second shot than the first.
Not a "little" flatter. Massively better.
I'm not saying the PS3 is better than the 360, just that the second set of shots are way better than the first.
If someone wer...
heyheyhey - Maybe you can make a documentary like "Super Size Me", but with XBox's.
Buy 10 XBox 360s and have you and 9 of your mates playing them 24 hours a day in a hot room for 5 days solid. And see how many units are still standing at the end of the experiment.
The movie can be called "Red Ring Me"
(And you'll get a lot of rentals of the movie with a title like that :-)
heyheyhey - "Microsoft's 1 year head start with no competition is the only reason the 360 still exists today.."
Well, I am glad that the 360 does exist. Sony were getting sloppy at the start of this generation and thought they'd keep on riding the success of the PS2.
Thanks to 360 really pushing Xbox Live and online multiplayer Sony have had to raise their game and turn PSN into something special. It's not completely there, but for a free service it's brillia...
@sackboy says hi
Off topic: Is racism still a really big problem in the US?
I just wondered because I keep seeing people on N4G going on about kicking out racism.
I think it's great you guys have a black president, but isn't the fact that he appears intelligent, articulate and has sensible policies more important than his skin colour?
Anyway who cares! Obama FTW.
Maybe everyone that wanted Wii Sports has a copy now.
Yeah, you're right Palin would. She had a librarian fired once because the librarian didn't get rid of the books that Palin wanted censored.
Books!! Imagine what she'd do to video games like Manhunt 2.
Right, all you Wii owners out there, there is finally an online multiplayer FPS worth buying for your console. (MoH2 - controlled well, but the gameplay was really disappointing for a shooter. And the graphics looked like PSP! Seriously! Compare MoH2 to the PSP God of War!)
Anyway...
World at War is a worthy FPS effort for the Wii so make sure you all buy it. This is a message for all "hardcore" "Core" "Gamers"... I don't care what you call you...
