Another Legacy of Kain? I'm in.
Edit: Another one of those articles in which some angry little man is handing out disagrees to people that like a game. Whatever, Legacy of Kain is beast!
Now you can just use that birthday money to take a couple days off work to enjoy the game ;)
Not to be too much of a stickler, but the original date was May 7th. If true, this would be a 6 week delay.
Edit: Best Buy and Amazon are still showing the original release date. In the case of a delay, does anyone know what the gap usually is between the time pre-order customers are notified and when the info is altered on site?

Being the best selling game on PSN doesn't count as support? If anything, the reason companies like these exist is because Sony is willing to take a chance and support titles that may seem to appeal only to a niche market.
On topic: I loved Journey and Flower and if going multiplatform keeps the devs in business and allows them to continue into the next generation than I fully support the move. I hope everyone gets a chance to play at least one of their games.

Wow, you have totally missed the point. He says that they expected it to sell millions over time which obviously (to most of us at least) means over a period of time further into the future than the launch window when many more consoles would have been sold. He's obviously written off those chances with the numbers being as abysmal as they currently are.
I can't believe the language and concept seem to be beyond your reach. That being the case, you have no reason to ever bring...
Who are you to question this person's intelligence when you can't even be bothered to read the article and see that said game was expected to sell millions "over time"?
Edit: Curious to know why you decided to put quotes around "game". Do you think that it wasn't, in fact, a game that undersold but some other product like a lamp or a pair of shoes?
Since when is Eurogamer pro-Sony? How is any of this Sony propaganda? Sounds like baseless speculation from someone whose entire argument claims to be against such things.
Remember, these specs are just rumors, there's no need for an Xbox fanboy like you to get all worked up just yet.
P.S. The proof of your lack of logic is contained neatly in one sentence: "I won't believe anything until MSFT releases the specs for 720 and pro unbiased developers reveal the specs...

If the PS4 really is significantly more powerful than the successor to the 360, I really think third-party games will reflect that. It seems the reason for this happening this gen was the relative ease of development on 360 compared to PS3. If PS4 is developer friendly, then it wouldn't be hard for them to use the extra power to add extra effects and if there's a PC version, maybe even higher resolution and framerate to achieve something closer to parity with that versi...
If it really is coming out this year then it will be playable at E3. It would be great to get a nice long trailer on the 20th.
It's not damage control. We're simply pointing out the stupidity of a baseless statement like the one you made. You should expect those comments when you say something that is so obviously untrue.
You have no idea what you're talking about. The biggest thing is bandwith, and the PS4 will have something like 176gb/s using GDDR5 while the next Xbox will have about a third of that, with the embedded SRAM running at a max of 102gb/s. But, with only 32mb of the embedded RAM, it's gonna stuggle to avoid bottlenecks. Not only this, we still don't know what kind of footprint the OS and Kinect 2.0 are going to require. If the rumored specs are true, the successor to the 360 is going...
Which console has always shipped with wi-fi, hdmi, blu-ray and a hard drive?
As mentioned by Doome, have fun paying twice to use services like Netflix, Hulu, etc.
I agree that Heavy Rain did have problems and that may be the issue. For me at least, it wasn't an issue of genre, but rather the specific qualities of the game. It might be that I'll like The Walking Dead and if I do it will be because it's an engaging experience, not because I'm purposely holding on to some double standard. People are so sensitive about their hobby that if someone doesn't share their affect for a product but like one that is similar they become convinced...
Sorry, but most of that image in cloaked in shadow. Not exactly proof of power.
Haven't played Walking Dead yet, but I thought the plot in Heavy Rain was terrible. Plot holes galore and just boring. Obviously there are plenty of people that feel different than me and loved the game and to them it may seem to be a double standard, but if you think about it there's none to speak of. In games like these, plot if paramount. If that fails, the game as a whole starts to go very steeply downhill. Those of us that weren't impressed or interested in the plot would exp...

The Game Informer article describes a game that just won't be fully represented by current tech. Also, saying it will come to high-end platforms means it won't be coming to PS360 and those are comparable to Wii U. My guess is PC, PS4 and the successor to the 360.
Where can I buy cool-aid?
I was exaggerating to show how asinine your statement was. Nothing of note to comprehend. You may have the time to play all the games you want, but I don't. Doesn't mean I'm not a real gamer.
True, but the gunplay in that series just doesn't do a damn thing for me. Too bad, because I love the way the nanosuit is integrated into gameplay (though I'd prefer a boost in jumping ablity to increase the potential for vertical gameplay, with maps designed to take advantage of the new power).
