Sony's studios consistently produced the most graphically impressive games during this last generation. It's logical to assume, given the PS4's more impressive specs, that the trend will continue. And Forza, while it looks great, most certainly isn't leading the way since it's still relying on baked lighting. I don't think Killzone is doing anything special either though. Launch games rarely impress, give it six months or a year.
Do you not understand the concept of satire? We're meant to understand they're not being serious, you don't need to explain it to us.
Learn how to use quotation marks properly.
The difference is that the DS actually sold hardware. I doubt they will bother porting to a console that sold 160,000 units worldwide April-June. Especially since the console in question also has a quirky architecture that would add to the difficulty of porting.
The world humanity occupied before civilizations came to be was turbulent and incredibly violent as well. However, people eventually learned of the mutual benefits associated with working together and forming communities based upon this idea. If the Fireflys found a cure, humanity could go about the business of restoring civilization. You'd not only be saving lives, but dramatically increasing the quality of life of those that survived. Just the chance to once again push the world toward ...
Really? You would sacrifice the lives of countless other children (babies even) to satisfy a personal connection? Even if you knew the person you were trying to save would have wanted to make that sacrifice?
People that may not have finished, or even played the game might have wandered in here so use spoiler tags. I know it's their fault, but it sucks to have the ending of something ruined for you.
Capcom claims the Sony reveal demo was running in real time. The language (or maybe the translation) isn't real clear on what hardware was being utilized at the time, however.
What worries me is that people have the balls to complain about something when they know next to nothing about it. Yeah, Capcom has a bad history, but let's wait until we get more information before the whining hits fever pitch.
"Nobody is making billions anymore outside of social games."
The ignorance contained in just this one sentence is staggering.
I know, I should have been more clear in that I was questioning the article and not you.
Pretty big leap to assume it's going to be an MMORPG just because it has an online component. The graphics alone make an MMO seem out of the question. My guess is that it'll be along the lines of Dragon's Dogma, but with real people at your side.
The engine building genre?

I guess Nvidia and AMD are just as clueless, since their graphics cards all use GDDR5. Your level of ignorance is astonishing.

On topic: Might have to get a Vita for this while I'm waiting for my PS4.
Sony owns the IP and could develop the game themselves.
It's unified, so there is no defined split between CPU and GPU. Resources are allocated as necessary.
Edit: Beat me to it, Yoda has.
This rumor was debunked on the first page of the GAF thread that the article quotes. Ironically, this went unnoticed by the "journalists" at Examiner.
What's that have to do with Drive Club, which isn't F2P? Despite what the headline says, only a pared down version will be give to Plus members for free, while a full retail release will also take place.
