Did they stealth edit? Because the article I read said 39.99.
An additional processor based off the 360 wouldn't bring the computational power much higher than the 1.2 teraflop figure, not to mention that it would be a nightmare to program for if it were used for games. The most likely use is for BC and maybe to run the OS.
VGAs take place in December.
It certainly could be a teaser for Uncharted 4, but it's difficult to imagine why ND would put that kind of information in a game that is slated to release after E3, at which point all of the PS4's heavy hitters will have been given plenty of coverage.

You completely missed his point. Uncharted 3 was released before TLoU was announced, which is why the tease made sense. Meanwhile, TLoU release date comes after E3, which is where we can all expect an announcement about the PS4's release date, which means ND can't really tease the release date with their game.
I like how you say that as if he must be a Sony fanboy since he wants to wait for MS to comment. The article states that the VGLeaks are accurate about everything except the 360 SOC, which would mean this new rumor corroborates the old rumor of the new Xbox being slower than PS4. So I ask you, why would anyone that's asking for us to wait for confirmation have any ulterior motive against MS? His response is nothing more than the sensible reply to what is basically the same basic rumor. B...
How are they losing fans? In March of last year, it was revealed that Dark Souls had sold 1.6 million worldwide, while Demon's Souls had managed just over a million. That's a significant increase when you consider that Dark Souls released just 6 months prior in Japan and 5 months in the rest of the world. Contrast that with Demon's Souls, which was release in February 2009 in Japan and October of the same year in North America.
I guess the point I'm trying to make, is ...

Good to know I'm not the only one that preferred Demon's Souls.
If you had bothered to actually comprehend what was written, I specifically stated that the 360 lost much of the lead it had generated in its first year as the only HD console. To anyone with basic math skills, this means that PS3 has outsold the 360 year on year.
I wasn't expecting MS to do anything. Again, read what was actually posted in the article. It's simply adding yet more speculation to what was only a rumor to begin with. We don't know why or even if MS ...
How dumb are you? No one from Microsoft has even commented on this, so all you have is a rumor that another rumor isn't true. Again, you've decided to believe one rumor over the other simply because it suits you better. Guess what? They're both rumors, and until Microsoft gives an official statement, you don't know if either of them are true.
So, you've chosen to ignore one rumor in favor of the other and somehow that means the original is null and void? Mind if I have some of the cherries you just picked?

I'm on GAF quite a bit and the only people I see speculating about the 720's RAM are desperate fanboys that don't want to believe that their console of choice might be underpowered relative to the PS4. The only thing we know so far is that VGLeaks proved themselves reputable with respect to the Vita and now PS4. The documentation they have on the successor to the 360 - which is something in the range of 90 pages - points to said machine using the came CPU...
How did the 360 outsell the PS3? It had a year head start in which it amassed a much larger lead than it currently has. You're really bad at math.

Yes, there is a way to calculate the number of units, games and accessories that need to be sold. Your "snowball effect" scenario is the basis of marketing and yet, each of those people will still be buying a console, game(s) and possibly some accessories, all of which will be accounted for in sales numbers. Nobody can predict what the exact numbers or proportions will be, but Sony can make an educated guess. This, in turn, will be a determining factor in h...
Yep, don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. I'm well aware of what 4k is, you wouldn't think I would have trouble figuring out 2k.
We're using realistic examples of what 4k gaming should be. The PS2 could probably run Pong in 4k, but I don't think anyone would consider that the next step in graphical fidelity.
Conzul
No console coming out anytime soon has the bandwidth to run a 4k game using all the bells and whistles of modern gaming technology. You can predict what is possible by comparing the maximum theoretical output of say, a PS4, with what would be required for 4k gaming and see that we're just not there yet. If these new consoles had the grunt, that Killzone demo would have been running at 1080/60. I know it's early days yet, but you just aren't going to have a system th...
1920*1080 = 2,073,600
"1080p isn't that much higher than 2k."

Mature is not a word I would use to describe the Saints Row series.
That will teach me to bust out my soapbox while using a phone to make statements on forums.
Yep, and CS:GO was released less than a year ago. I guess Evil Ryu's special powers include ignorance and petulance. Whaaaaa!!
