They won't make drastic changes until sales begin to stagnate. No point in risking the money they're currently making when most of the people that are complaining are the hardcore minority. The casuals will still buy it in the millions.

I thought it looked better than its first showing at the One reveal and assumed it was running on PC. Whatever the case, I'll be too busy playing BF4 on my PS4 this fall to care about COD.

While I do agree that BF4 is far and away the most impressive looking shooter, it does appeal to a different market. Granted, there is plenty of overlap, but there are people that only like one or the other. Myself, I prefer Battlefield. However, there are others that only want games that play like COD and for them, I think this looks okay. It certainly shows all the telltale signs of both cross-gen development and the complacency that success can breed, but I have no doubt that there will st...

The Noob used all three of his bubbles repeating himself. Now that doesn't sound like something an intelligent person would do.

Jokes-
I would argue that the difference in power this coming gen is clearly larger than it is at present. When it comes to PS360, MS's console actually had the better GPU and (arguably) better RAM setup. The PS3 made up for this with the SPUs on the CELL, but that didn't always work. Open-world games almost universally performed better on the 360, with its unified pool and embedded ram. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun with my PS3, but I can admit that there are des...

Neither console is nearly powerful enough to run the kinds of games (Gears, Uncharted, Halo, GOW, etc) at 4k. The fact that 4k is supported only means that there might be games that run at that resolution, but that those games will be very simple. Think Super Stardust and you'll get the idea.
Anyone that thinks they'll be playing AAA games at 4k this gen doesn't know a thing about technology. Go online at see what kind of hardware is required. FPS required four (yes, four!...

Jokes-
I don't think anyone (save die-hard fanboys) are arguing that the One isn't plenty powerful. The average person will however, wonder what the specs are relative to the PS4 when they notice the difference in price.

Mighty-
The unified memory of the PS4 helps a lot and devs have also stated that Sony is further along in the process of providing complete tools to all studios.

You might want to learn the definition of a fact. This is all opinion. And yeah, I've played COD. The inspiration is clear.

What a well-reasoned post. You've addressed none of the points I mentioned, instead opting to rely on a, "my three friends and I" non-argument. The quality of your statement is such that I could easily counter by saying, "It does too". Solid work, kid.

fourOeightshark-

1) The weight of the previous game was removed in favor of a twitchy, swivel-on-stick feel.
2) The Marksman was able to both turn invisible and use the most effective close-range weapon in the game, thus encouraging camping.
3) Kill streaks.
4) Recoil and spread were dramatically reduced from what was seen in Killzone 2, while auto aim was increased, making the whole affair easier for a certain fanbase that isn't too familiar wit...

Porting from PC shouldn't take too long. I'd love to be able to play this on my PS4 at 60 frames.

Agree to both the change to Norse myths and the use of metal in the soundtrack.

I love Killzone, and much prefer the universe to that of Halo. Having said that, I can't help but laugh at the assertion that Killzone is adult (as in, mature). As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, GG utilized every horrible cliche from just about every action movie from the last three decades. The script is an abomination and I would be perfectly happy if they focused more on the muliplayer (which was amazing in the second game), at the expense or exclusion of single player.

Killzone 2 was my favorite, yet I can't help but agree with you. The script is laughable and you get the impression that the writers had just learned how to swear and became determined to impress others with their "adult" vocabulary. Shadowfall - from the little I've seen - seems to have rectified this. My only other reservation is whether or not the weight has returned to the controls, because I was not a fan of the way Killzone 3 handled. I liked that they got rid of the l...

GraveLord-
Ready at Dawn is making The Order. So if there are three teams it could be:

1) The GOW:A team
2) Stig's team
3) Corey's team

Holy. Shit.

Edit: While I agree that GOD should be left alone for a while, I don't think it needs to be half a decade. What made Ascension feel unnecessary was:
1) It was another prequel
2) Ghost of Sparta came out between GOW3 and Ascension.

Apparently EXVirtual thinks that the OS runs on fairy dust and good intentions. Not only is he ignorant, but he's condescending about it as well.
