I read this -- "No fellow gamers, this is a game that is only for those with an abundance of patience and devotion." -- and was like
uh oh, what did I get myself into preordering this game. Demon's Souls is gonna kick my a$$. I'm not that patient and will drop a game in an instant if I'm not having fun.
But it seems that this is the rare game that you really don't mind dying over and over again, because it is so fun -- and dying is just expected. Weird....
I want that beta code, dammit!
Gotta Love Cosplay :)
Joe the Condor!!
Awwww Yeah!
Windmill Pyramid... memories :)
I have a feeling I'm going to need it
Also, there is a full walkthrough on Youtube with some guy (I think RE4Freak or something like that ) playing the whole thing beginning to end offline.
No commentary unfortunately though
Mostly for Link, Paper Mario, and the Virtual Console though
I have nothing against Halo, but I get sick of "journalists" that write these reviews and then are afraid to give the appropriate review score.
There's nothing wrong with giving a game with a 5 hour campaign and some multiplayer maps that most Halo fans already bought an "A" -- IF PRICED APPROPRIATELY.
Real Xbox fans know this. It's the Xbox fanboys that are getting this twisted just for bragging rights.
Maybe $40, but not a full-pri...
That's like saying Nazi skinheads and sheet-wearing Klansmen are an example of White behavior. You know that's bogus, ESPECIALLY when White kids drop N-bombs almost as much as blacks these days.
Face it... There's ignorance in EVERY group / culture.
uh.... what?
EDIT:
And I actually liked Ninja Blade... Yes, I am the one
Now if we can just find out who still buys those PS2's
I wonder how they'll screw Uncharted2 for hits this time.
I'll probably pick this up soon after I beat Batman, but I have to admit that I don't like the direction this game is going in terms of DLC.
The first game had a lot of unlockable characters & costumes -- by performing in-game tasks and/or earning xp -- not by charging $1.99 per character like this game wants to with Juggernaut
No extra characters for me I guess... I'm not paying for them
I'm glad that it turned out ok.
Considering that the X-Men Legends games and the first Ultimate Alliance were a lot of fun, I'll be picking this up.
Hey, I respect Sam and can't wait for the next Splinter Cell (it looks insane), but Sam vs...
Metal Gears, The Beauty and the Beasts, Gekkos, MGS1's Fox Hound Unit, a giant Microwave, the "immortal" Vamp, and Big Boss (the original Snake and "Legendary Soldier" himself)?
Sam couldn't even take on Old Snake, nevermind Solid Snake
EDIT:
Snake's adventures are legendary. Man, even Snake's Mullet is legendary. Solid Snake wi...
My sources in Auxerre, Burgundy have already played it and said it's awesome!!!
:)
Awwwwww, Yeah!!!!!
EDIT:
And I got so excited about Blood Omen, that I forgot about Syphon Filter and Silent Hill too
Great update
I'm glad Kojima comes through to visit, because if they keep asking themselves "if it's good enough?" - then the answer is obviously "it isn't good enough"
You'll know when you have a masterpiece on your hands, and you'll be then proud to show it to Kojima.
"Knightfall" would probably make me faint. This is the story line in which Bane frees all the Arkham villains so they attack him for days on end, and then Bane swoops in at the end of the line - picks up a sleepless, exhuasted Batman - and simply breaks Bruce's back across his knee. Epic game material. (But they'd probably need to change that ending, or let D.ick Grayson take over. Screw Azrael...)
I'd add...
Iron Man's "Armor Wars"
World...
I'd be a little nervous too. Who wants to see Wolvie cuddling with Mickey and getting hit in the face with a cream pie by Goofy?
bah....
uh, what? Really?
Nate struck me as being an Indiana Jones type. And who doesn't love Indy?!
I'm also a fan of Tomb Raider's first game, and heard lots of comparisons between both, so it was an easy decision for me
And lastly, ND is a top notch dev team on a roll that can't miss and just know how to make a fun game.
