I grew up gaming on a C64 and later a PSOne, so disk-switching isn't that big of a deal to me.
But if you don't have to, why do it?
I install all of my games on my 120gb 360 hdd, so I won't have to switch disks and to reduce load times.
In fact most 360 gamers started installing once we got the opportunity to do so. So are 360 gamers lazy too?

Am I the only one who got a little nervous when logging into Demon's Souls to see that disclaimer that servers could be shut down Spring 2010 should Atlus decide?
It freaks me out a bit to know that the DS experience as I know it - Blue Phantom help, Black Phantom break-ins, helpful player messages, and instant health boosts via players recommending you messages - could end as early as next year. DS offline is not the same game.
I might actually pay to play DS onlin...
I wish someone would have told me that before I wasted my time playing Uncharted, R&C:ToFD and Demon's Souls.
They only have a meta rating of 89. I thought they were fun, but I guess I have to burn them now...

I often try to wait for deals to buy games. Either Buy one (or two) and get one free, or a nice sale.
I waited a long time for a nice sale before buying a 360 and now enjoy buying their best titles for dirt cheap. Between $10 and $20 usd for Crackdown, Gears, Lost Oddessy, Dead Rising, and Mass Effect.
And waited for the Wii to finally drop to $200 befor...
and ALL Ps3 fans will be able to enjoy these benefits.
Unfortunately, Xbox 360 Arcade owners don't have the option to install those Forza cars / tracks.
Hopefully, this teaches Arcaders (my new word) the pros of getting a hard drive. Doesn't MS offer a 20gb hdd for cheap money?
Anyways, not to get off track... GT5 is shaping up to be monster and is looking to raise bars Uncharted 2-style.

Seriously though...
I listened to this podcast and podcast 50. Here are my honest impressions,,,
They strike me as a bunch of regular gamers that just like to sit around and BS about games.
And there's nothing wrong with that depending on what you're looking for.
They're not trying to be the Walter Cronkite or Wolf Blitzer of game journalism. They just hang out, talk about games, speculate, and crack joke...
Well, to some people some console exclusives ARE the best sh!t ever...
Of course the PC does a lot of things better than consoles like shooters and sims...
But I still can't play as Old Snake in MGS4. or as Link in Twilight Princess. Or Cole in Infamous. Or Mario. Or Nathan Drake.
Even the GREATEST GRAPHICS EVER!!!! can't replace the soul of a game, or it's likeable characters.
But in fairness to PC gaming, once you find a good mmo with ...
it's hard to follow Vice City and San Andreas
And GTAIII holds a special place in people's heart because it was maybe the first GTA that they played, unless they were playing the top-down view ones on PSone
My personal favorite is Vice City (I grew up in the 80's and the sound track is insane).
From what I see on forums, it seems most people like GTA:SA the best. And why wouldn't they? It has great voice acting and gritty story, added rpg elements, and...

Game Informer is my favorite but old school EGM was the best, before the fan boys took over, they started acting like MS Stormtroopers, and began flinging tomatoes (literally) at Sony's machine on their cover and actually laughing about it.

There's great reason for his rage.
Play all three games (including the great PSP CoP) - digging into his amazing back-story, witness him keep getting screwed over in the most heinous of ways, and seeing him continue to pay dearly for one choice he made in a single moment of desperation and weakness - and make that statement.

And I still haven't been able to pop DS out of my PS3 to play U2 yet.
DS is that good and that addictive.
Maybe this weekend I'll storm through U2's single player, but honestly DS has me hooked like no other game since MGS4.
I still have Mass Effect for my 360 waiting to be played though... we'll see where I stand for next-gen game moments after I play that.

Must beat Flamelurker (good luck!!) and give his soul to Ed first though
Blacksmith Ed is hidden in 2-1 and you have to activate elevators to get to him

And IMHO the most amazing part of this game is the Message System.
There have been sooooo many times that I was knocking on death's door with just a sliver of health left(especially in boos battles) then it flashes across the screen that me message has been recommended
and then FULL HEALTH BOOTH!!
Sure, the game can be unforgiving at times - but the devs did a great job in helping the players even the odds.

MS could have avoided this by just including HD-DVD in some / all 360 models. But who knows...
