Loved Atari 2600!
Break-out, Ms. Pac-man, Vanguard, and River Raid were my favorites :)
I still miss joysticks and paddles
Paddles would be great for games like MAgic Orb and Arkanoid.
And I'd love an old school joystick for Pac-man Championship DX
As for Nintendo, their games are just consistently fun.
I haven't played Sorcery yet, but Sports Champions is crack addictive to me.
Plus if you like playing light shooter-type games like Time Crisis, then Move is great because they are a lot of those games available for the system.
I loved those type of games since Duck Hunt, so Move was a great buy for me.
But I don't use it with other game types though.
If you played Revelations, which sections were more enjoyable and exciting?
Ezio or Altair's?
Altair's sections was one of the only good parts of the game for me. And when my man Altair showed up and people were like "Welcome back, Mentor! We've needed you", that was the best.
You can say Desmond is bland. But Ezio while cool especially in AC2, does not top Altair.
Heck yeah!
Shadow, Sabin, Edgar, or Kefka!
I'm a huge FFVI fan (my favorite game of all time)
But even though FFVI eventually came out for PS1, I still mainly associate that game with my SNES
I'd also like to see Red XIII as someone above mentioned.
I've only been reading the manga since the fillers are too much for me. But the manga story is excellent.
My two main gripes are (minor spoiler - ish)
1 - the manga has not been focusing on developing side characters as much as it has in the past. But hey, we know Naruto, Sasuke, and Tobi are gonna get the most scene time anyways. And Kabuto got some good fleshing out.
2 - No major characters are dying in the War yet. Only edo's so...
Seriously. He did his thing in the Ninja War
While I am a fan of older FF games, FF XII is not turned based, and I like that game. Loved Balthier, Basch, and Fran as characters and their story.
And I actually like XIII's battle system, but the game overall is lacking.
The main culprits are the story, pacing, and bland characters.
FF:CC was a much better game due to the story (which we even already knew the outcome) and seeing Zack's character develop.
You can li...
Tekken is definitely an important part of ps history.
I'd like Lara Croft, Kain, Crash and Medieval characters as well
My Goodness!!
:O
I didn't expect this!
Day One, indeed
@ ATi_Elite's "I'm going next door and gonna grab some old games from my neighbors kids...They are spoiled brats and won't miss them"
Looting and treachery?
We have a bandit in our midst.
DayZ player confirmed! ;)
GTA IV dlc is dlc done right.
Entertaining and much better than the main game.
AC series and especially Revelations
Den defense (in Rev), horrid controls
AC always had sloppy controls that would make you jump in random directions during missions or chase scenes.
I still enjoy AC (at discounted prices like the $15 PSN+ Brotherhood deal), but the only good things about Revelations were Altair's scenes and the addition of the Stalkers.
And GTA IV is the worst one in the series and a serious downgrade f...
Tinfoil hats all around, because I immediately thought the same thing. That Metacritic ticked some people off.
Metacritic was like "NO, Microsoft!! I've been found out!! People are noticing me screwing with review averages; leaving out positive reviews and stuff. They're gonna pin all of this on ME!! But I ain't going down alone! I want MORE swag. And a bag of money every damn week now; not monthly! Or I'll spill the beans on what you, ign, 1up, an...
Deathstroke wins the fight easily.
Deadpool is the cooler character though.
They should at least have kept the slim matte texture.
But whatever; people will eat up a $199 or lower slim.
I do wish they would have a more fully-featured PS3 like the fats that you could special order from Sony or something, but that ship has sailed.
I had to get some thermal pads and paste to repair my 60gb. Yes, I still play PS2 games up-scaled on PS3 though most of the popular ones have been / are being remastered.
This guy's trolling is old-school
Still not as good as Zhuk or Sniper's though
Right? That statement sounds sinister.
"Snake? Think you have just one more left in you? I think the world's gonna need your help again real soon."
MGS4 may be my greatest gaming experience ever (next to FFVI - go Kefka go!)
And the truly amazing thing is it may not even be the best game in the series.
MGS3's great balance of tight gameplay, great story-telling / soundtrack, and awesome characters (Young Ocelot!) may take that honor.
But MGS4 succeeded in tying up series loose ends and bringing a proper close to Snake's career.
And the ending still gets me every...
Biased media with Doom and Gloom articles?
HD-DVD?
:)
On a serious note, I'd like PS1's Kain in there as well as Lara Croft (she was huge back then).
@ blahblah346
"True FF fans enjoy it and will continue to support SE. We don't need haters like you."
Please... PLEASE... Get the f' outta here with that.
Squaresoft was my absolute favorite developer, but they seem to have lost talent and priorities after merging with Enix and stepping into this gen.
Squaresoft were damn near incapable of making a bad RPG game let alone a bad FF game.
But t...
