Wow, great article.
I have not played the game yet, but this article certainly makes me want to.
Interesting stuff.
Neverwinter Nights community member module "A Dance with Rogues"
High quality adventure that's better than the NWN OC, and shockingly adult.
If 18 or older, this module alone is worth the cheap purchase of nwn diamond (gog.com drm-free!!).
Who cares about GTA IV sales?
It was a downgrade from San Andreas in the most important aspect... fun
BoGT dlc was great because it injected some fun into boring GTA IV
Uh, MGS isn't really known for it's staunch realism.
It almost borders on Sci-Fi, experimental, or future technology that could exist.
And some of Snake's and Raiden's enemies (Vamp, the Sorrow, Psycho and Screaming Mantis) and feats (Microwave crawl, Gecko toss) are crazy.
Leon is my absolute favorite character in RE.
RE2 or RE4 are probably the most popular in the series.
It's no coincidence that he's the star of both games, and also has the most traditional RE-like experience in RE6 according to reviews.
Tensai, A-Train, Albert, Prince Albert, whatever...
The guy sucks period.
Zero personality.
And Japan is where a lot of those physically big but no talent having wrestlers who cannot make it stateside go. And I like Japan wrestling, but that seems to be the case most of the time.
Japanese mark out for big western types. Look what the heck Capcom did with RE's Chris. Roids much :D
I'll probably get it when it hits the bargain bin.
I know, I know...
It's just that the RE and MGS franchises are must-haves for me.
FF was once part of that trio of must-haves too, but you know how the last few games turned out.
Love that game!!
Gold Box D&D Pool of Radiance was one of my first games for C64.
I just installed Neverwinter Nights Diamond and am playing a PoR module
I used to spam Rock n Wrestling, Fight Night, Summer & Winter Games, Sky Fox, Montezuma's Revenge, Mario Bros, and those kid sports games with the water fountains, pot holes, and other hazards on the court / field.
I miss those games and actually downloaded PoR and Dosbox to play PoR again a whil...
"PC gamers don't think they deserve to have franchises exclusive to only PC's."
Wha? C'mon, maaan
PC gamers get pissed when they feel their games have been "stream-lined" (dumbed-down) due to development on console also.
And then say the game should have just remained on the PC.
I'm not saying console gamers don't pull that, but PC gamers definitely do it too.
Now, Does...
Seconded. A REAL hard slap.
Gamers better hope to God Sony never leaves gaming.
I'm so serious about this.
We'd be playing casual games and the same handful of mainstream mega-sellers every gen.
But these so-call journalists seem hellbent on running Sony into the ground.
What they don't understand is unfortunately knuckleheads are actually influenced by their words.
Then those mi...
This Cosplay is unreal
It looks like they're in a next gen video game :O
If you own multiple systems and / or have other commitments, you sometimes don't get to some games until years later.
Heck, that's why I love series compilations; to catch up on great games I missed out on previous generation.
But enough excuses. It really is just a crap thing to do to another gamer.
And I hope a mod will change the title for others.
Not really. Sometimes fans have to mod games to fix bugs the actual developer can't (be bothered to do).
I'm playing The Temple of Elemental Evil from gog.com right now.
When the game was first released, it was damn near unplayable due to the game-breaking bugs.
Modders Circle of Eight not only released patches to fix near all of the bugs for gamers, but also added numerous quests and features, new gear, raised the level cap, and eve...
Honestly, DS just takes patience and cautiousness.
Traversing an area you don't know? Keep your shield up.
Out-numbered? Use funnel techniques like tight alleys or tunnels.
See a big, red dragon racing to dive bomb you? Turn around and run! And don't linger next to the pile of dead, burnt bodies.
Seriously, observation and common sense go a long way in this game.
Deaths only pile up when you becom...
wha?
I'm lost...
I'd also add GeOW, MGS4,Demons' Souls, LBP's, Elder Scrolls, Fallouts, CoD, RDR, and Mass Effect to a list of games that defined a generation.
And I'm not a CoD player, and I thought RDR was a bit overrated, but all of these games either blew up commercially, or did something really innovative (DS / LBP).
I hear you, but I think of it as netflix.
I don't own those movies, but can watch them whenever I want.
When the subscription ends, so does my access. It's fair.
Any game or movie that I really want, I just go buy to own it.
Funny story about the burgers
I wouldn't have eaten them either XD
"Really? An article that talks about nothing to do with the gameplay makes you want to play the game?"
Actually, Yes.
The game has already received great reviews stating good gameplay, so whether it is a solid game is not an issue.
In fact, this late in the generation there are plenty of games with great gameplay that I haven't had the chance to touch yet due to a large backlog.
So a game with an interesting con...
