Both are great games. Both are similar, and have their positives.
I personally like Demon's Souls better for the atmosphere, level design, story behind each arch stone, and better stat-scaling and online.
Now Dark Souls has levels that interconnect in a Metroid / Symphony of the Night kind of way, more armor / weapon upgrade paths, and Estus Fla...
The dual shock is outdated??
I'll agree that rumble was needed at launch, but I'd be disappointed if Sony drastically changes the dual shock design.
I've been gaming with those ps controllers for three generations now. Love the feel. Maybe adding more trigger-shaped L2/R2 buttons is as far as I'd go.

I really hope the DLC issues for the PS3 get sorted out soon. It sucks that PS3-only owners are still waiting on earlier dlc when new content has been announced for 360.

I think judging a game by its previous installments is fair.
It's just like a movie.
If I'm huge Matrix or Transformers fan, I'm going to be crazy upset if the newest movie in the franchise is a comedy / musical, whether is a good movie or not.
Fans of the franchise do have certain expectations.

Despite how you about new Dante vs original, Classic Dante was the real Allstar.
If it's really about a celebration for fans, that's the Dante that should have been included.

Uh, you were lucky?
I got lucky too. The worst that happened was my fence blew down, which was an easy fix.
But I have family in another state that lost power for days. And they were the lucky ones, after seeing what happening around them.
Even a couple minutes away from me were blackouts. But not the crazy flooding or fires.
Sometimes you just get lucky. Sandy was one big crap shoot where we live.
