***If you disagree with what they're providing, don't buy it. That's your right and about all you "deserve".***
Customers: "Hey, this invention you call a cheese pizza is pretty good. But maybe add pepperoni to it?"
Chef: "Don't like it, don't buy it. It's that simple."
Customers: "Uh, ok. We were under the impression that you were making it for us to enjoy. Our bad."
Open Zone was great!!
Not for the feint of heart.
Instead of being called out for being a fanboy, the point was to be the biggest fanboy with no holds-barred.
Yes, some of that stuff did spill over into the normal comments. But it was a place for console war vets to go wild.
360 fanboys used to rule N4G, so I originally tried to be a PS3 troll to balance the odds (eventhough I owned all three systems). But I woefully stunk a...
Look, if Battle Royale is supposed to be fan service wrapped in a great game, then this is the opposite of giving the Devil May Cry fanbase what they want.
DmC's (or whatever the new title is) new Dante, certainly does not yet have the clammering fanbase as the game is not out and there has already been plenty of negative feedback towards his character.
Adding new Dante to PSASBR is the lube - uh, er move by the suits to try to ease him into our... consci...
Glad to see you're still doing your thing, Tor.
It was funny hearing you and Blade going at it, and also reminiscing about arcades on Step Ya Game Up.
Man, I miss those days. People thought twice about talking trash at the arcade lest they got knocked out.
And everyone and their momma used to claim they had a "pattern" to clear x game.
Good times :)
Oh, and "PS3 nuthuggers"?
...
Well he sure ain't no Visionary.
They were cool

This is what is written about Heavy Rain"
"A game that captures all the thrills of toothbrushing and grocery shopping, adds a few setpieces shamelessly derived from recent movies, demands ten hours of almost comedically mild joystick movements and button pushes, and offers a choice of endings that all have the same key element, scuppering any replay value."
Uh, endings that all have the same key element, "scuppering" replay value? Wh...
Anyone else watch the full Ehrgeiz playthrough to see where Sephiroth was running to?
Tifa went Final Boss on him though. Bah
I wanted to see Seph make it to the ending
Me too, Chen. Me too.
I hope this works out.
I jumped back into FFXI because I missed playing a FF flavored MMORPG.
I've been reading the dev team notes and schedule of all of the FFXIV changes and additions, and it's all pretty exciting.
So I'll probably jump into this game soon.
Dude, Attitude Era was not a kids show.
Just because a kid watches something doesn't mean that's the intended audience or core demographic.
If a kid's dad takes him to a R-rated movie (like parents used to do back in the day when the new Friday the 13th was out), does that mean that movie was targeted for kids.
Also back in the day, parents used to let us have a drink under their supervision. Alcohol wasn't marketed to kids. ...
Unfortunately yes. Now it is.
Attitude era wasn't though, so this news sucks
Oops! I mean "stinks"
Imagine hearing "And if you ain't down with that, I got two words for ya... Get Lost!"
Damn near makes me ill :(
Green Ranger's still better though :)
I still remember when he jumped into their megazord, whupped their arses, and then threw them out :D

Plus his theme music got you amped up!

Agreed
MGS4 or Demons' Souls for me
Some fans state FFVI is better because it has arguably has the best story, characters, pacing, soundtrack and villain.
It's all opinion though.
I happen to think FFVI really gets the edge with every character's special techs (not just weapons) that made them all unique.
Cyan had build-up, risk vs reward sword techs,
Gau rode off with beasts to learn their skills,
Edgar could turn into a chainsaw wielding maniac with hi...
It's the other players that are the true danger, not the zombies (Though zombie hordes are no joke if you're caught out in the open).

Please people, Please vote down Kotaku.
The same "oops, nevermind" BS from them just days after the whole Versus is / now isn't cancelled crap.
Under "Read full story", click the following:
"kotaku.com"
"WTF?"
"No"
If Kotaku is consistently spreading false news / rumors / reports, should they really be on here?
All I know is, FF XIII was the very first FF that I had to force myself to finish.
When a game that's supposed to be fun becomes more like work, that's not a good sign.
And it's my own fault for forcing myself to finish instead of quitting.
But I've been a FF / Square fan for a long time now, and I really hoped the story would come around and grab me when all else failed (characters, pacing, etc). This didn't happen for me...
Yeah, the Boston Magazine article was well written and sadly turned my stomach when it got to how employees were handled.
My goodness. They were blind-sided :(
"Hey everyone,
No one is more frustrated by a story being wrong on Kotaku than those of us who work at Kotaku. There's no long-term positive for us if we present a long story cited to anonymous sources that then is refuted by the CEO of the company whose game we wrote about.
I'm frustrated that, after giving Square-Enix three days to comment, they couldn't provide an answer as clear as the one their CEO did on Twitter today. If we thought ou...
Setzer was great. He was like Gambit the Sky Pirate, but much cooler than that sounds.
