Cool, didn't realize you could jump in witcher 3, and the 100 hours to complete the game is music to my ears. I spent 80 hours alone in witcher 2, and witcher 3 is more or less double the length according to CDPR, so who knows how long I'll spend with Witcher 3
The weapon viewmodels look nice with DOF and the overall aesthetic, and the reload animations are pretty good. Reminds me of the crysis guns
hoping for early 2014 release
i don't think we're at that point yet, I don't think pc gaming could survive such extreme hardware polarization, it would be bad for business for both of them
thats pretty sweet, but if a teammate is too oblivious to not realize a teammate in need then I doubt even voice commands will get them to toss you that precious ammo or health kit
Oh mass effect 4 is on frostbite? is that confirmed?
if so, its a very welcome improvement to whichever engine they use for mass effect 1-3 which is extremely basic
For this map its probably the flood, either it rolled in or hasn't rolled in yet
"Shadow Fall, the game isnt sluggish and hasn't been since KZ2 lmao."
You've clearly never played KZ2 or KZ3 or watched any gameplay footage of KZ:SF.
"It's called frame-rate compression and I suggest you find a better alternative than watching all of you're gameplay videos on crap YouTube. "
frame-rate compression to an extent gives uncertainty when determining very exact framerates, but you can generally ...
How about you define 'next-gen stuff' instead of throwing around a vague term and hoping that people think you're correct. And then after that, tell me how better graphics are not considered 'next gen stuff'
next-gen is in-part about graphics. Why do you think they increase the hardware specifications of the consoles with each generation? why do you think peoples expectations for graphics and performance go up with each generation?
Lol you comparing bullshots of a game that primarily takes place in a small corridor where they barely have to render anything?
Battlefield 4 has: better resolution, better framerate, better anti aliasing, gigantic maps with tons of non-static objects, and can actually handle 64 players and vehicles and massive buildings and what not being destroyed IN MULTIPLAYER. I've seen killzone shadowfalls multiplayer, and it is static and has nearly 10 percent of the frantic feelin...
I don't normally buy collectors editions but I think I'll go all out for a dev as good as CDPR
You gotta give credit to dice, BF3-4 have some of the best sound design I've heard in a multiplayer shooter. It may not be what real combat sounds like, but it sounds very frantic and as if an actual 'video game' war is going on around you
what are you running it on?
And on the topic of bugs yeah I had some pretty severe save game bugs for TWD
I want more endings like spec ops the line
I want to feel like a b%&stard upon completing the game, just trying to do what I felt was right but messing everything up in the process
Having to wait between each episode feels very similar to waiting for the actual comic issues to come out each month
I don't think for most games, but hopefully telltale does more of this comic adaptation business. Going from a fan of TWD comics to the videogame I can say they really captured the feel of the comics. Now with their latest wolf among us, I haven't read the comics personally, but so far it is intriguing. One big thing telltale has to strive for, though, is to make choices carry more impact than they do now
By your logic, my PC has been built from the ground up (by myself) in order to make it as efficient at gaming as possible. Therefore, I am able to compare it to consoles
Compared to a PC the difference between power of the PS4 and XB1 is trivial at best
So there.
And watch how peoples brains suddenly switch, and 'graphics matter' suddenly becomes 'graphics don't matter!'
I hate the floaty combat of the recent batman games. Its basically assassins creed with the counters but you glide several feet from enemy to enemy which feels very unnatural
