I disagree, the crap character models and the hideous hair textures effectively sucked the immersion away from my gameplay experience. It was a great game but character models and animations were janky as hell, and its deficits were reminiscent of a PS2 era game
the only thing that would stop me would be diminished hand eye coordination and capacity to respond to quick screen events that come naturally with age
a lot of the stuff that they added seems trivial and doesn't really add anything of value to the vanilla game. If they could have just changed one thing for the directors cut they should have changed the hair on character models so it didn't look like a solid chunk of plastic
wait so is it coming out nov 15th or oct 29th
heh...what game even does that these days other than completely free to play games like TF2
I do appreciate games without HUDs, so I may try that. I didn't even realize you could do that, it must be a config edit or some sort of console command
Okay so people insist TLOU isn't just a zombie game and now people are insisting that it is a zombie game...well which is it
Like in one of total biscuits videos on the game, I feel one of the biggest changes is that the momentum of character movement feels right so that it isn't sluggish but it feels like you are maneuvering a soldier that is actually running with combat gear
What I DON'T like is how when you are aiming down sight at an enemy, there is a 90 percent chance that they are obscured in some way by some sort of HUD element such as a point marking control point alpha or bravo. As...
The original battlefield theme is really iconic, but it seems with every newer battlefield it devolves more and more. Its gonna just be like static for battlefield 5
Oh uh...that really like...that stinks man
Brb I'm gonna go and search the internet for...stuff.
It is 2013, and 'next generation' hardware struggles to maintain something that the PC has been doing for around a decade and a half. 60 FPS is fundamentally tied to gameplay, it completely alters the pacing of the game, where high framerate is almost always preferable for best gameplay experience. The fact that next gen consoles are struggling to maintain 60 fps is pathetic honestly, shows how dated the hardware is despite not even leaving the shelves yet
Its like a mixture of the films 300, troy, gladiator, and the game god of war
I still think the game would be more neat if you actually fought in formation like the romans did
I'd like to know what you mean by splooging all over the game when most reviews are in the 8 range, and this is a 7. Is he not splooging as well?
it was the best step in my 'gaming journey'
"get very 'better' close to high end for graphics?"
it may be due to the fact that coffee is coursing through my veins from prolonged awakedness and midterm preparation, but I have no clue what you just said
PS4 will run the game at practically the same settings and performance. No use in comparing the game across next gen consoles
don't forget, medium settings as well. Same applies to PS4
watching people play an FPS with a controller is like pulling teeth...
at least the framerate is somewhat stable at 60, although I did see moments where it noticeably dipped. Now COD doesn't really have that edge anymore on consoles
would 4k on the occulus rift require more beefy hardware or less? Because the displays are smaller since they are in such close proximity to your eyes, then wouldn't have to fill an entire screen with the display
If this were coming out on PS4 I guarantee it would be running at similar settings.
But then of course, graphics wouldn't matter!
