What a chief!
I hope Duke doesn't have that genericy Unreal Engine 3 that some other titles using it have....
The Mass effect series runs on Unreal 3.
Epic have already stated that the 3DS isn't powerful enough to run UE3.
Epic recently showcased UE3 on the NGP, and it is running perfectly on the device.
Expect an NGP and/or Ipad Mass Effect reveal.
Morgan Freeman's a what?
The Hitman series had some of the best graphics on the PS2.
IO took their time and are finally building their first proper current-gen graphics engine. (Kane & Lynch games used an updated Blood Money engine, hence why they looked so mediocore).

Long live 1st party exclusives!
Well I own both a PS3 & a Xbox. And I probably prefer my PS3 altogether as a console. However Alan Wake is my favourite 360 single player experience. And it looks fantastic. The atmosphere and the lighting effects are especially good.
Alan Wake has great graphics except the facial animation were a bit below par.
Now if Remedy could combine their environmental graphics along with L.A Noire mo-cap, it could rival the best of the PS3 exclusives...
Don't get me wrong, I thought Alan Wake was a great game.
But because of its 5 year costly development combined with its less than impressive sales, I'm delighted (but surprised) that MS have decided to fund an exclusive sequel...lets just say that if Activision owned the rights to the IP, AW would cease to exist.
When the original PSP's most talented devs (Sony Bend) work together with the PS3's finest, Naughty Dog, in order create a handheld version of the best new IP this gen, it can only mean good things!
Especially when Sony Bend are trying to showcase the power of the new hardware.
NGP Uncharted & Wipeout bundle, Day 1.
Well prior to the last mission, a box pops you to inform you thats its the last mission. Just save it at that point, and then continue on and complete the final level.
And whenever the new DLC comes along, just load up that final save and play the new content.
Valve are one of the few developers not to have pledged themselves to developing on the NGP yet.
Their reluctance to develop on smartphones might mean that they have no intention on working on any other mobile platform a.k.a the NGP....
All you need for a NGP Portal is 2 analogue sticks, 2 shoulder buttons and the XO buttons (or the trackpad on the back of the NGP) for jumping & pressing buttons. All of which the NGP has. And Source is technically not a demanding graphics engine, so it could probably be easily translated over
The NGP's analogues are similar to the 360's analogues and are perfect for FPS games.
Puzzle games such as Mercury & Lumines were perfect games for the ...
Hopefully Sony can use this downtime as an opportunity to turn PSN into the service it should have been on Day 1.
They should implements changes that will result in PSN being a serious online contender against Live.
Stuff such as Cross Game Chat ,improving first party game servers and introducing a streamlined Playstation Store, would nearly make this whole ordeal worthwhile
(I didn't have any personal information attached to my PSN accou...
Does this mean that we won't be seeing Source on the NGP?
Or is does it only apply to to Android and Apple platforms?
Portal 2 would work great on the NGP. Test Chambers on the go, would fit Sony's mobile platform, Steamworks co-op and the dual analogues perfectly.
As a PC and console gamer,
I can't believe someone actually agreed with this idiot.
Prior to any games release, you can only judge how much potential it has, by looking at its developers (and publishers) previous track records and by reading previews in the gaming press. L.A Noire has built its own stellar reputation by itself.
For a new IP to recieve so much attention prior to its release, is a real testitment to the quality of this game...
Somehow, I doubt a game based around Bin Laden's death would be very exciting......
The was only 3 casulties and Bin Laden himself was unarmed, before he was shot.
And the only reason the soldiers lost a helicopter was because there was a minor mechanical error, and it landed safely before being torched by the special forces.
Not exactly compatible to COD's nuclear bombs and Battlefield's collapsing skyscapers....
For anyone that actually read the article
its clear that this 'journalist' is a misinformed fanboy.
Since when do PS3 games take HOURS to install!?!
