New Nvidia series in May and hopefully Intel's Haswell in June. Summer upgrade, here I come!
The Wii went through similar issues, but the only reason that console survived is because of the casual market. This time around there is no such market to fall back on. Remember E3 2008? Yeah, exactly...
The Gamecube had poor third party support and by far not as many first party exclusives as the Wii U could potentially have.
Unless Nintendo drops a bomb at E3 in the form of Zelda, Smash Bros., Star Fox, F-Zero and/or more I'm afraid the Wii U is pretty much done for.
My underwear is ready.
There is just one franchise that needs a reboot and that's Mega Man. Capcom, get your head out of your ass and pay attention to the franchises that need it.
As much as I enjoyed Bioshock Infinite, I can not deny I was also disappointed.
Why was I able to carry only two weapons? Why couldn't I switch to other Vigors in real-time? Why did the "health" system become regenerative (the shield)? Why was there a lack of variety amongst the enemies? Why was barely anyone using Vigors against me?
These are just a few of my gripes.
For once? The 3DS is red hot at the moment. The only thing they're truly failing with is the Wii U.
Looks interesting. I've always wanted a magma themed map.
This might be the first time Call of Duty will take a massive blow. Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops II did extremely well, but I doubt people will fall for an "MW4" that easily.
Unless the next Call of Duty somehow steps up its game I'm certain Battlefield 4 will dominate this year.
I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about that, Randy. After Colonial Marines you don't have an install base anymore.
Oh, the irony... People are screaming for Call of Duty to innovate and now they finally have the chance to do so with new consoles and therefore a new engine they want it to stick to the current generation. Makes sense.
Well, that's good news for Nintendo and the Wii U. It looks like the battle might not be over yet.
Well, I'm not disappointed in the game itself. It can still rock my world. =)
I'm honesty disappointed the game is still set in today's era. I would've preferred a 2142-esque setting.
The quality of this "article" made my eyes bleed.
Further proving my point that Battlefield is going down COD's road. There is no need for a Battlefield 4 this early, yet here it is. They have to pump out a new BF game so soon...
I'm waiting for Monster Hunter to hit the Wii U. That game alone will make it sell in Japan. In the West not so much, I'm afraid, but for now it's my biggest reason to purchase a Wii U.
I'm an avid Nintendo fan, but I'm craving for something else than Mario at this point. Therefore I'm really happy with Yoshi's Yarn, but this gen Nintendo needs to bring back franchises like Star Fox and F-Zero.
If this were true... I would absolutely love Konami.
Come on, Ninty. Bring the heat at E3 and make the Wii U look good.
