It's already been confirmed that BF4 will run at 60 fps at 720p.
Microsoft had it all in the beginning, but Sony won big time in the long run. Why? Lack of exclusives on Microsoft's end.
Honestly, I haven't seen those. I probably missed those then. I don't keep a close eye on the Sony articles here, with the exception of PS4 related ones.
What kind of bugs me is that the Vita is getting no hate at all, it seems, despite its commercial failure. In the meantime is struggling with the Wii U just as hard, yet that platform is being put in a negative light again and again.
I'm hoping for Sony they can give the Vita a boost with the release of the PlayStation 4.
Having trouble with Super Mario Bros. 3 is something I might understand, but Super Mario World is one of the easier Mario games. Seriously, I can pop that game in right now, go to Star Road and complete it in under an hour.
Try optimizing your games for Nvidia and AMD instead then, Epic. Might be a better idea.
"that the GPU is the least of their worries."
You said it right there.
The GPU is easily your biggest worry. Most prebuilt PC's you can get from retailers have a good CPU and lots of RAM, but a shitty GPU. Building a PC yourself is always the best way to go. Not only is it cheaper - you also learn more about how your system works and what it can actually do.
I'm definitely picking this up with my community. Good to know the game's being received well.
The Wii had poor third party support due to the lack of power, preventing most multi platform titles from coming over, and its casual target audience. The "hardcore" (I hate using the term) games didn't sell that well, with the only exception being those from Nintendo and maybe a handful of others, like Monster Hunter.
The Wii U has to face an entirely different problem. It might be a part of the next generation of consoles, but it's actually competing with ...
As an avid gamer I've always dreamt of having my own aluminium fences.
One of my favourite underrated games is Metal Marines on the SNES. I was the only kid in my neighbourhood to own it and all of my friends loved it as well. I've never even met anyone in real-life who even knows about this game besides me. Ah, good times.
I never implied that the quality of games is declining based on my disappointments. Those disappointments are the result of something I touched upon at the end of my blog: the lack of fun. Infinite was a good example of this, because I felt like I was being held back, comparing it to Bioshock. This limit on what I could do made the game less fun for me.
That right there is why I asked myself the question whether or not the quality of games is declining. Of course there have b...
I hadn't noticed it yet. They added some extra features to the Downloads tab as well. Awesome.
True! I am very much looking forward to Planetary Annihilation and that's just one example. I tend to lean towards indie developed titles nowadays. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is also on my wanted list.
Thanks for the approval. :)
"In fact, the games that have incorporated it in recent years have done pretty well."
I'll give you that, but I'd rather have them spend their resources on the singleplayer component and refine that. Bioshock 2, anyone?
Nintendo talking about the Wii U Zelda just before E3? My senses are tingling...
Yeah, I'm rather surprised by it. Then again, it was to be expected, since the GK110 core has been in development for quite a while now. I'm hoping for a huge jump in performance at a lower price.
If Nintendo does well at E3 they can at least make a small recovery, all thanks to the wonderful Xbox One. Sony's stocks have gone up by 9% and Nintendo's stocks have gone up by 3%. That's saying something.
