Yes yes yes!!!!
But I believe that if Sony thought it was that important, they would. That said, this is why they have Exclusive deals w Activision for CoD and Destiny!
For sure. The animation and assets spent on costumes really highlight that you ARE Spider-Man!!
@conanlifts it’s absolutely not a bad thing. The game has a ton of amazing qualities and is A LOT of fun!!!
I can agree that this game hasn’t moved the open world bar. It hasn’t evolved dynamic gameplay, like TW3, and CP2077 and RDR2 most likely will.
But even if you have issues with this, it is insane to think this game isn’t an 8.5 at its worst. I’d give it a 9 personally.
While I am very happy with Spider-Man, it does suffer from the Infamous issue of having an open world that doesn’t take full advantage like a CDPR game would. It’s fine, as the story is good, the skills are great and the outfits are amazing. I love the dynamic crime and events too.
Overall, I am very happy. But, in a perfect world, it would have more side quests in the open world, or moved the needle by adding more dynamic gameplay theat effects the open world. But 90% of g...
Destiny has great lore, but storytelling is average. It’s tough because you need constant content, and it becomes fractions and difficult to mesh.
Can’t wait to see how Bioware does, and happy to hear this comment.
Really wanna play. Just don’t have 100+ hrs.
The problem is that there is no campaign and they invested everything in this Blackout. While I think it would be smart for them, and lucrative to offer Blackout in the go, maybe it’s just too difficult. Otherwise I don’t see why they wouldn’t.
I’ve had my eye on this game but I have to ask, why the hell would you release it now? Seriously! Summer maybe. Maybe even just after Xmas. Anything but right now.
These are 5 great points. They really thought about ways that would add to the enjoyment of a video game. The suits alone are a superhero nerds dream come true. The saving is great, the combat is fleshed out and spectacular is how everyone should play. And the traversal. Wow!!!!
Absolutely. I was surprised by the difficulty on spectacular. It really forces you to understand it fully to perfect it, getting away from button mashing. I felt this way with Arkham too in the amazing challenge rooms...
GoW and Spider-Man knocked combat out of the park this yr.
One of my anticipated games, but I simply don’t have the time anymore. I’m kinda bummed out by it too.
No one else has these issues. Weird though, what would cause this then. My guess is a bad copy.
If they didn’t work, they wouldn’t use them. A lot of ppl rail against, myself included, but then go and buy them, myself included, if even just a few.
Problem is this. The average age of a gamer is like 32 or something. Nowadays too many of the core players work a lot and prefer just buying things instead. Then you have a Youtube/Twitch crowd that can afford to buy them.
GTAV is a great example. It’s the best selling retail game of all time. And yet th...
It’s absolutley a cross gen game. And I’m fine with that. It will be like GTA 5 was w PS3. We will wonder how they are able to do it.
I just hope that b/c it’s release will be so early next gen that we either get a lot of dlc, or another CDPR game next gen.
My issue is this. Do I pick it up and give it a 3rd chance, or just play Spider-Man and RDR2?
Again!!
While I agree it’s too late for so many, which is unfortunate. I was in a clan of almost 100 ppl with about 8 close friends that played together since D1 launch.
A few came back but none of my friends are planning on playing Forsaken, which is sad.
I am happy that this team is getting it right, but the MOST important thing is that whichever team is making D3, they had better be communicating with this team to make SURE that it is a progression from wher...
Good point, and yeah, Star-link looks pretty cool!
For awhile it will be. But ppl have so much time and money invested in Fortnite that it’s attachment rate is very high. That and Fortnite is still free.
