The thing is. We knew this and they knew this going in. They are hopefully looking forward to something bigger.
Because everyone knew the minute they added Gamepass, along with Windows gaming that there is literally no reason to buy an Xbox. You are much much better off buying a PC and a PS5.
It’s expensive but everything is. My new IPad was expensive. And if you don’t play PC and don’t want to, you are going to buy this.
The question is, how many of these people are there today?
Elections have consequences. We have to remember this when we vote. We can’t just tow the line in November because we always have and look back in another 2 yrs and wonder why it hasn’t got any better.
I feel bad for these people as I do so many who have lost their well paying jobs. And it’s been hard for me to admit that maybe just maybe, we change the course.
I would love to know their profit now compared to the PS5 release and others. Everything is expensive now, and if gaming PCs remain affordable then console gaming is in trouble.

It depends on games and friends. For me, it is a PS5 as they have proven that they can and will give us great exclusives. BUT, unlike this gen, MS has done a lot to remedy the situation and now have a bunch of studios working on MS games.
I will wait and see. There was basically no reason to buy a MS console this gen, like last gen, I bought a 360 for ME, Gears, Halo, Lost Odyssey, etc.
All that to say that it’s about exclusives. And no mention of what MS has done to put themselves in a better position? Very weird article.
I absolutely adore this game! And can’t wait for Nioh 2. The two best Souls-like IPs to date!

We will know if it’s worth $60. We have to remember that re creating a game that was 100 hrs long in a modern engine is no easy feat. I’d rather they spend the time and get it right.

Exactly right. Unlike Division, Destiny and Anthem, this game is not trying to be them. It’s trying to be a better version of itself. This is very important as it’s not trying to be an mmo.

I actually believe that it IS possible, with the right management. The game has a solid foundation. BUT...they need to implement a strong story and world building element.
And then obviously, take the path of Destiny and relaunch as a F2P title and sell expansions. This way, ppl will try it again, play the new BioWare story, and IF it’s good, they will pay to play more.
