Because since the launch of the PS4, Sony seems to be showing their hand at every turn. Now MS can respond. Personally I thought it would be Brett to take the same path they took last gen and surprise everyone with power and price. But I guess it’s MS’s turn to get back in the game this gen. I’m absolutely perplexed by decisions made each gen. It’s like they have a deal to take turns and purposefully do stupid sh$& to help make it happen.
It’s a great game marred by a few technical issues, and a long drawn out story. Things will get patched and I prefer that my sprawling and gorgeous open worlds actually demand your attention for more than 15 hrs. Live the crafting and especially the unique take in freakers.
WHile I can’t give it a 10 because of some issues that need to be patched, I do LOVE this game. I love playing as a gritty biker, live the beautiful open world, the long story and content. I hate open world that take years to create but only bring you a few places for 15 hrs and that’s it.
Love the freakers too! Yes, it has a few issues that should be remedied but this game is an easy 8.5 and 9 when it eventually gets patched. I could understand anything from a 7.5 and up a...
What I was really hoping for from the PS5 was a move to mobile gameplay in addition to its focus on gaming. They have experience here and have the ability to stream. MS is no longer their only competition.
Right now you can play PS4 games on your phone with an app, why not release an official app that works on PCs, mobile phones and tablets. They could create their own mobile device similar to the Switch but make it a choice for those who would prefer a dedicated mobile gam...
You are thinking of Sean Murray! Roberts is in the same boat as Bioware would be if EA wasn’t their parent company, on year 7 of a game that has absolutely no release date in site. I do believe that SC has direction, but it needs to finalize something at some point, and build upon it after it’s released.
Good thing there’s EA access. Always thought it was kinda strange they offered this service and took the stance that they have. It’s like they basically lost all faith in their ability to sell games with micros at $60 and traded full retail for the price of one month of Access.
It’s the attachment rate. Fortnite and many games are great at this. You need to offer things that build a character’s portfolio, making it more difficult to leave. Once you accrue a trove of personal items, you find it very hard to move on. Ask the many that went back to Epic’s juggernaut.
This article is very good, but misses the fact that no game can survive on being the hottest game, as it is impossible. So either you plateau and settle and maximize profits for that nu...
I don’t mind things like voice over and other additions for people. The Division 2 has this and it’s cool. But making a game easier is an insult to ppl with disabilities. I have friend with a disability and he is wayyyy better than I am at these games. But we love playing them at the same time andntalking about them.
This game like most Souls games have a built in easy mode. It just takes time. So it’s like reviewing a game that takes time. Hell, almost every boss has a cheese mode, so it needs no easy mode.
Trust me, there’s no point playing this game on easy..
I’m not a highly skilled player and have had 0 issues eventually getting through all these games. If you really can’t beat these games, maybe you shouldn’t be reviewing, or get some help.
You are having the same issue I was having until I MADE myself realize this is NOT a Souls game. You cannot stay back and dance and dodge. You have to block and stay in their face and break the posture. Once you make yourself understand this, it will become a whole lot easier.
I died like so many times trying the old way.
Also, you get Dragonrot from dying, not reviving like every single person online is stating.
Maybe we ask this in 2021, but why again for the 15000 time. It’s been the same answer for an entire generation.
It’s a terrible start. Now I need to know...
Will it have post launch content? Because if it doesn’t, then what’s the point?
Also, how the hell will they fund the endgame content that will decide whether this game lives or dies?
Mmo’s and games of service require great end game content to thrive. And consumers have shown to eat through initial content very quickly. Anthem will face a problem similar to Destiny in that it is much more di...
No. It doesn’t!!!! It isn’t one sided to say that a game is broken and should not have released at $60 in an alpha state.
Which game did he play? Are you kidding me? I adore Bethesda and the Fallout IP and I am utterly disappointed in almost every regard, to the point that I’m convinced this release is so out of character that something must have happened at Bethesda to allow such a product to release.
Maybe this is and example of the reverse review to get hits.
Mistwalker please! Can we finally get a Lost Odyssey sequel?
Easily The Legend of Zelda. Waking up to a Super Nintendo and a gold cartridge is seared into my brain. And I spent an endless amount of time playing this game over and over, reading Nintendo Power and unearthing every secret.
I remember hiding the memory card in certain places so my younger siblings didn’t accidentally erase my progress. While Mario and Duck Hunt and others were fun to play, Zelda was an obsession that created in me a desire to forever play games!
I knew Dutch had a plan all along...and it was P2W!
It’s that radiation! And server cost
Love Walmart Canada!
I will always remember the excitement when Battlefront 2 was announced and EA said they learned their lesson and ALL DLC would be free. Everyone was so happy.
Of course, this was before The Last Jedi killed Star Wars and then EA surprised us all...by tying micros and loot boxes to actual progression online.
Maybe Activision finally realized that if you have an IP like Call of Duty and work to revitalize and evolve that which made it so great, you could s...
