And it’s kicking it all off, so it’s fine! It’s in the perfect position. The game that may suffer is Destiny’s Expansion. It NEEDS to right the ship and now it will be going up against Spider-Man.
I fear that they are so far behind on first party titles that it may hurt them at the launch of next gen too.
It’s tough not to buy PS5 day one. Their commitment to games is unparalleled right now.
I sooooo wish this was a summer release.
TY. And I simply want no bottlenecking. Just give us compatible tech. And keep improving on social and networking. Don’t care about much else. Keep the focus on games.
And in reference to BC, it will be necessary for the PS4 if they do it in the next 18 months. Or they continue to support the PS4 cross gen for a couple years. It’s too big right now to abandon...whatever CJ they won’t. PSNOW I honestly believe will eventually become a separate service available everywhere. ...
Hmmm...Destiny 2...I’m trying to recall that one. ...just a sec...oh yeah...I remember...it’s the game I bought last September in the heels of D1, buying into the hype that there is no possible way they could screw up after spending 3 yrs fixing the first one. Along with like 10 friends and a community of millions, we waited with baited breathe for the release of an IP that would finally culminate in something close to their original vision.
Then...before the 1st dlc even ...
Very well said! There is no comparison. If GoW released against RDR2, then we might have a real choice in our hands. But a GoW with a story, actual customization and rpg elements, a one shot cinematic experience in glorious 4k, brutal combat and the rememergence of an iconic character.
Nuff said!
Is this a real question? I grabbed No No Kuni while I wait for GoW. And chances are if ya grabbed FC5, you will be bored of f it by 4/20. Even if you aren’t, these 2 games aren’t in the same stratosphere.
GoW is a DAY 1 game (well, unless you will be on vacation on a beach somewhere lol!). FC5 is something ya might grab when there’s downtime. Though I haven’t made it more than 20 hrs through a FC games since FC2 because they are so damn repetitive.
Seems like the perfect fit.
Huge if you played on the PS3 like I did.
If I had the time right now, I’d give it a go. Always wanted to play it. Also, I’m still confused as to why SwtOR has not come to console. On the backs of the new movies and reemergence in popularity, and it’s focus on story campaigns, it would be a natural cross over for consoles. Ppl have been clamoring for a Kotor, seems a no brained.
What I really wanted was for Miyazaki to take the time to see his full vision come to life. Use the new tech to add anything he wanted...and I’d love to see some secrets hidden and maybe a new world.
I’m just addicted to Souls and want more. And it is odd that the rolling wasn’t brought in line like everything else. Can’t wait to experience this game in 4k, 60 fps, no stutter...
I’d say you forgot Bethesda. But good list.
They’ve been there for a LONG time. Does this simply help to solidify and prove their ability to remain at the top? Sure! But c’mon!
Does it matter? When it’s announced, we will plan to buy it.
It’s 50x the content.
It’s MORE than worth $50 now! I’ve logged over 100 hrs and still have so much to do. It’s crafting is endless, they have consistently updated it for FREE, and have a ton to come!
It’s an amazing game, and an amazing feat! Remember, it was four people who made this thing.
For one, it’s free! And I still haven’t played it! Lol!
I’d settle for the game itself. Just been waiting for a decade.
Yep. Not bad for Rockstar’s first foray into the multiplayer seen though. Imagine GTA 6. I like to think they will connect the new city to the current one.
