This is exactly what I've been saying. The gaming Industry is the largest in Entertainment, grossing more than the film and music Industry combined. Attack Sony, and gamers suffer. The two cannot be separated. Anon or whatever they're calling themselves are not just wrong, but are hurting the industry and us. Now even more so because of the exposed accounts and stealing.
Its easy to hide behind a PC and make threats, then turn around around and deny involvement. Funny...
Yeah this isn't Anon's fault its Sony's. I guess that explains why this didn't happen prior to Anon's threats. Sony shouldn't be under the microscope, the Hackers should. This is the only way to expose these cheat and make them pay for their thievery.
Yes the BBC got it right... criminals. I would however add liars, cheats and throw in a few words about their blind pathetic supporters.
Wow... a lot of trolls on this article. Just contact your bank, get a new card. Simple. No hassle or worries.
Looking forward to this game. I can't wait to see how they've changed the franchise.
Naughty Dog has never released a bad game. Their game creations are not just unique, but extremely diverse and innovative. From Crash Bandicoot... a smart and fun platformer, to Uncharted... Storytelling and cinematic gameplay at its best.
In Naughty Dog we Trust.
Lets attack innocent, hard working people. People who contribute to the Industry by purchasing games. Let's support George Hotz who makes it so that we never have to buy games... What blind and misguided fools. They stand for nothing.
Its unbelievable and a shame that people are blaming Sony for a breach by HACKERS. the blame lies in one direction only. Its not like they willingly give away these accounts, or invited the hackers. They were under threat since the George Hotz case. Any upgrade in security would have resulted in downtime.
These "Hackers" talk about free speech, when really they are just no good thieves and liars. Anyone who supports this shouldn't play video games and have nothi...
Why would Sony lie about this, or keep people in the dark on purpose? Its not in their interest to do so. They're fully aware of the impact on consumer, investor and developer confidence. This should be obvious.
Websites keep jumping to conclusions, and basing articles on opinion for hits. Lets filter out the good articles from the bad please.
The differences, if any, will be negligible.
The only thing that beats metal gear is the next metal gear... period.
As you can see they're all about doing this for the community, free speech, and "sticking it to the man"... yeah right! They're just thieves, who are out for nothing but self gain and self promotion.
Monster Hunter on the PS3 please.
The hackers wanted one thing... to raid our accounts. Don't listen to their ideological BS. They stand for nothing except but self promotion.
Anonymous... How to steal money and still have supporters. How to lie and pretend their doing this for the community. Strike one for free speech. Hackers, pirates... no thieves. Thats what the are.
GameStation... Any thing for a cash in. That should be their slogan.
Maybe you should be demanding answers from someone else... Like the people responsible for finding these Hackers.
Yeah okay. Anon attacked PSN initially, then decided not to because it violated their belief. If they were so clear on what they believed, then that would have never happened. They have no structure. Instead they are random and rogue, and cannot speak for the actions of any their members.
Why wasn't PSN attacked in this way before? Is it coincidence that after all the threats something suddenly happened? Maybe their followers are gullible enough to believe this. However, ...
Awesome! Hope we hear more at E3.
LOL. Well said.
