The PS4 Pro has been on the Amazon best seller list for the last 3 months in the US and UK. These sales will count towards the November numbers... this is the reason for the "chart topping" XboxOne S.
Did you play the Taken King? If not then definitely come back. Rise of Iron is great lore wise and it's genuinely a good expansion. Lots of quests but also short. Great improvements all round. And if you're planning on raiding then yes come back

PS4 Pro is good value for money. Strange that it's being compared to the Scorpio which in theory doesn't exist yet nor is there any pricing. Even stranger, being compared to the OneS which is the same underpowered launch XboxOne with a 4K bluray player. for $399, if you're getting Ps4 then this is a no brainer.

First off the Xbox One S is still the same under-powered machine that launched 3 years ago. It's the same machine that dropped Kinect for 10% "more power", and utilizes the cloud and DX12 for "more power" yet it still can't complete with the regular PS4. The OneS is no comparison to the Pro. Just like the underpowered Xbox One before it compared to the PS4, most games still run natively at a lower resolution at 720 and 900p. This is no even comparable to the Pro. Yes the 4K bluray is a good addition in the OneS, but games are not better because of it. Personally I have not bought a physical movie disc in over 3 years and don't intend to anytime soon.

What? Left over ps4s? What are you talking about? Regular PS4s will drop to this price. I.E. the price of the slim and regular ps4 will be the same. Neo will be higher.
I think the price will be $299. Maybe $249. Neo may be $399 if Sony wants to dominate.
The US alone isn't the console Market. PS4's Global lead is massive not to mention the US lead is huge too. The XBOXONE launch model was heavily discounted last month. The OneS will no doubt lead for a few months also but not enough to lead or make up much ground.

The older model has been discounted heavily given the upcoming launch of the One S. So MS can take August too. They were no major tent pole releases in July on the PS4 side so sales were stagnant in July.
Day one patch will no doubt fix these issues.

I've had a few PC gamers say to me that they don't need to buy an xbox for gears and halo. This isn't really positive for hardware sales. However even counting these as xbox exclusive games the PS4 has still dominated the first half of this year in terms of exclusives.
The lead worldwide is too big. In the US and UK it's close. However the recent monthly NPD results for the OneS could be down to people buying the Pro. All the preorders count towards November for Sony.
