With RDR 2, COD, and possibly Destiny 2 having marketing rights with Sony, I am not sure what other big AAA games are left for MS to team up with in the Fall. Battlefront 2 may also be with Sony again. So not sure if the "better on Xbox" line will go mass market. I think they will say the most powerful console ever made... but what will the price point be?
Games are constantly being showcased on high end PCs... especially third party games.
Sony doesn't have to respond to Scorpio... they is a large library of PS4 games to come... a good amount over the next 2 years. Not even counting Japanese and Indies.
MS needs to show games! Plus the price point is unknown. The PS5 will be around 2019. Sony will take that time to develop a compelling launch line up, outwith the already announced games. The response will be PS5. No rush.

I think Sony will unveil the PS5 in early 2020, with a launch that Fall. They have games announced for the next 3 years. GOW, TLOU 2, Days Gone, plus many more studios we haven't heard from. No doubt they will be prototyping and dismantling the Scorpio after launch to see how their future console can be better...That's normal. However they are in a very strong position with more and more software incoming. MS has yet to show anything compelling (other than power) for the Scorpio. Game...

This looks incredible. So much choice and flexibility in combat! It also looks fast and smooth. Looking forward to the reveals. Wonder how much playtime to upgrade everything? Weapon upgrades for each type, plus different rarity of item. Class upgrades and skills looks deep and varied. Can't wait!

Note that Active users include the 360, XboxOne, Windows 10 and Mobiles. Specifics for XboxOne only are not known. Surprised that console sales revenue are down, given that Year on Year December they were up. Worldwide the console must be declining further.

Once Sony keeps bringing the games and Pro features, I think both units can co-exist. Especially if by the end of 2018 the Slim in $199/$249 and the Pro is $299/$349. At this price both will dominate even more. I see the PS5 in 2020. Software is key, and Sony is doing a stellar job on this front with exclusives games almost every month.
This game ran perfectly for me!... Given the size, scale,enemy types, combat and overall mechanics, you'd think it would have some bugs or that there would be more issues... considering games today that is. Guerrilla Games outdid themselves here. Even still they have continued to support this game, making the experience even better.
