Bubbles for recognizing the flash. And I used to be. I got out while the getting was good. And I was being sarcastic.
These videos are getting annoying. Everyone on this site knows that the 360 bricks because the sun is up and it's too hot. It's getting to point of being like making fun of a retarded kid becasue he's retarded.
I mean parity as in the hardware functionality being equal.
The disc-read error, if I remember correctly, was caused a lot by people using early PS2s as DVD players a lot. I'm not saying that was the only cause, but that is the only cause I remember being talked about. For the sake of argument, say that was the only cause, Sony didn't fix it because they could claim user-error. It's sh1tty, but that's why the did that, just like MS does with the disc scratchng problems, they say it's user-error. MS had to own up for RROD becasue there is no way for th...
I think this article is wrong in many ways, but maybe the situation IS that much different down under, I just don't think so. And I know I'll get disagreed for saying this, but I think that out of Sony and Microsoft, MS will release a new console first. Probably not as soon as this guy is saying, but definitely before Sony. This is based off of track record and the undeniable fact that the 360 is not poised to be a long term solution due to choices made by MS. Disagree fanboys, but if you can...
Your argument about owning physical media is flawed. There is a huge difference between MP3s and HD video files. While considering your example of putting a persons MP3s on CD and seeing how much space it would take up is valid, it ignores one of the primary reasons that people turned to MP3s in the first place: people were getting tired of paying $10-$25 for a full CD with only one or two good songs. While granted "good" is subjective, for the most part, people were upset with gett...
Actually, it's a loss. By giving people the option, it allows people to not buy a 360 and still experience the game. not that Prey 2 was going to be an amazing game anyway. Decent, probably even good, but definitely not amazing.
That last part was a little harsh.
Wow. It only took the nongaming public 16 months to figure out the sky was blue... I mean that Nintendo was limiting supplies to increase demand. Sorry, I get confused sometimes with obvious things.
If that's true, my bad. When I saw the article, it was changed.
EDIT: I didn't realize he was pimping his own post on a message board.
No, he is right. While it may be MS exclusive it is not platform exclusive. This is where MS kind of screws themselves. If they had kept Bioshock, GeOW, Mass Effect and the others on the 360, or released them much, much later on PC like they do with Halo, it would force people who want to play those games to buy a 360. Now, somone with a decent computer (which you can use for other things, thereby making it a more reasonable investment) can play those games. This is in sharp contrast to PS3 a...
Why do people always think that PCs upgrade at the speed of light? I understand and know quite well that technologically speaking, a two-year-old computer is technologically obsolete. However, PC developers have to define minimum specs to run the game, and those specs are usually two to three years behind bleeding edge, sometimes even 5 years depending on the game. And while it is true that you might not get the "ultimate" expereience by playing it on very high settings, but you can...
I meant certain enemies in the corridor sequences, as in you're at one end of a hall and the enemies are at the other, they would jump out and be gangsta and wait for me to cap them in the melon. Does that clear up the enemies I was talking about. Overall, The AI was good, just sometimes they would get into these goofy routines. Also, I've only played it on hard and crushing.
You misread. He's saying that the pricedrop is a result of the writer's strike, not a means to end it.
It's a double-edged sword. By cutting the price now, they'll increase sales and lose money per console sold. And if they keep the price the same, they make more money per console, but they lose out on some sales.
Wow. I wonder which side you're on? Where to begin. First of all, the "earliest" we will see Sony's renewed focus on games will be this year, that is, if you don't count the last holiday season. And even for the sake of argument, 2009 will see the most benefit from this. It's called multitasking. Also, there are studios that can put out solid titles every year, hint: one of them is Insomniac.
As far as your absurd claims that MGS4, GT5, etc. will sell like Lair and He...
I think you mean Naughty Dog.
It's not that the puzzles weren't hard, it's that instead of giving hints, the diary gave the answers. I'm sure the puzzles would've been tougher without the diary.
I think what made the cover system somewhat tiresome, at least for me, was the AI patterns when the enemies were behind cover. Half the time the pirates would pop out of the same place again and again. That made the cover system a bit annoying by taking out part of the realism. It would have been nicer if the AI mixed it up better in those situations. The same goes with the last boss battle where his rifle was glued to your head, even behind cover. Overall though, it is an awesome game.
How are they supposed to unplug the cable when it's in its box?
