That is true, for now. Everyone from Sony to Toshiba to Sharp to Panasonic is working on glasses free 3D. It exists now but the viewing angle is so narrow it is unfeasible for public use. Give it 3 years and it will probably be practical. Give it another 3 years and it will start to be affordable.
Besides, the PSP is screwed because of piracy and homebrew. It sells well enough; nowhere near to DS numbers, but respectable numbers. Sony could do the same thing by making a 3D PS...
Did you even watch the press conference? Microsoft might have sent gaming sites review units but not more than one. And there were more than only one person from every site there.
Face it, MS is spending a shitload trying to pimp Kinect as the next big thing and giving away free shit is a good way to build goodwill, especially after a lackluster showing. Don't forget, this shit went out live in Times Square, Microsoft has dumped millions into Kinect and they will do anyth...
The sad thing is, on there little poll, more people said it wasn't a bribe than said it was.
@ Jaime Foxx: I can't even look at bags of Ski... candy anymore. Her cries haunt my dreams.
You can use the DS3 in lieu of the Navigator. See, I just saved you $30.
I think that the problem with these scores of E3 is people are basin it off of what they wanted to see versus objectively rating what was shown.
Microsoft's presentations hurt them more than helped them I think because the Natal show was a severe case of style over substance and much of the Natal footage was just that: footage. And it was hurt by the fact that they had people pantomiming to the video out of sync. All that did was put it into people's heads that Natal ...
Calm down. There were parts that were dull in Sony's show, the sales, the montages, the KB part dragged on a tiny bit too long. There were parts when they slowed down a lot and those pats were dull. The conference was good, great even, but there were parts that dragged on.
Awesome
Only if you want to play your games online. So it doesn't affect too many people.
Best part of that: Kevin Butler: VP of Sharpening Things
Does a bear shit in the woods?
You could tell she was thinking," When's this fucking loser going to let go of my leash?"
Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if some group like NOW sued Nintendo for demeaning women for this stunt.
A WiiSports clone. a WiiFit clone, a Just Dance clone, and a Nintendogs/Eyepet clone is what' going to get people interested in Kinect? Not around here it won't.
EDIT: To the disagreers: I'm sorry, it just doesn't kinect with me.
Nintendo's games might not be your thing, but they did not tie with EA. Nintendo is the one to beat right now because they finally, finally brought what people have been clamoring for for the last 3 years. I don't think there is a single classic Nintendo franchise that they didn't touch on.
Again, while those games might not be everyone's cup of tea, and it is kind of sad that Nintendo adamantly refuses to create new IPs, they showed more games that people wil...
I was commenting on the hyperbolic nature of the praise when from what I saw, it was meh at best.
It's called rehearsal.
I think the word you are looking for is "all."
Also, I think it is quite the coincidence that the person they gave the kinect to was the girl's "twin" sister.
Expected start, horrible middle, bribe.
Numbers are bullshit.
Proof: view video.
What roof? Where is this roof that was blown off?
Just because you say that you're a USC student, doesn't make it so. Just like the fact that you saying the 3DS is the greatest thing, doesn't make it so. The only reason the the technology in the 3DS hasn't made it to 3DTVs yet is because of the shitty viewing angle that the technology allows. Which is why manufacturers produce the TVs with the glasses.
Also, after finishing your vapid, narcissistic diatribe about the 3DS, your opinion holds even less weight. ...
