It looks like all they did was flatten it and get rid of the reflection at the bottom. At least from the video that's all it looks like they did.
EDIT: Phantom disagrees. Oh, how I've missed you! Well played, Phantom Disagreer. Well played indeed.
Infinity Ward can't join Bungie on a game, they can't join anybody. Why? Because they don't exist any more. Respawn Entertainment on the other hand...
The only reason anyone is pissed off about this is because EA chose to call the bad guys by their name, rather than a generic term like "OP FOR" or "Bad Guys." It's been said before but online deathmatches are like cops and robbers. If someone's gotta be the cops, then someone's gotta be the robbers. In CoD4, you're basically playing as Iraqis, but they don't call them that, so it's okay?
All this boils down to is society at large...
Blah.
Hyperbole: It makes makes everything bigger and better.
Oh god, the irony of this.
Is this site really that desperate to take down GT5? Why not wait until the game is finished before we spam youtube with all these bug videos?
Let's see... could it be that one is a legal means of allowing a consumer to use his/her phone with whichever service provider they choose rather than being locked into a single carrier in a monopolistic fashion and the other is illegally obtained tech belonging to a specific company for the sole intent to defraud said company, and others, by obtaining copyright protected materials without paying for them?
No, it couldn't be that.
Same shit, different day. Have fun stroking that e-peen.
Where the fuck is the proof? Everyone's getting excited over unsubstantiated blog posts without any shred of evidence.
And before anyone says I'm butthurt over the PS3 getting hacked, trust me, I'm not. This isn't really my scene, so if this is true or not, it doesn't really affect me as long as piracy doesn't fuck over the developers too badly that it starts to affect me. All I'm saying is why aren't people demanding proof of these claims befo...
I know. But I remember there being a media bitching party when that video came out and for a while we weren't allowed to call violent jodies.
I was adding to the point that Fishy had made about perception and stupidity in the media.
Whatever you say, guy.
I mostly agree with you. I also am a veteran, but I think this is more an issue of impropriety and sensitivity, rather than censorship.
In the military you are there to defend and uphold democracy, not participate in democracy.
The same thing happened when videos of, I think it was Army, training where the recruits were calling jodies about killing people and the media went apeshit about it.
That's only if the people have the jailbreak or one of it's clones before the update hits. The number of people who have this isn't a large as some people make it out to be. For example, the original, "Official" PSJailbreak is illegal to sell, and not everyone is tech savvy enough to build one on their own.
This also ignores in what way the exploit was defeated. I have said from the beginning of this, if Sony is smart and they are able to, they should di...
Did you stop to think of how Sony stopped it? If Sony disabled the USB ports during startup until after the OS is running, then the hack is now useless. Every version of this hack uses the same procedure and if that procedure is disrupted, then bye bye Jailbreak.
It all depends on how much control Sony has over the boot sequence through firmware updates. If possible, the simplest way for Sony to counteract this "hack" is to disable either the eject button, the USB ports, or both for 10 seconds or whatever until the OS begins running thereby killing the exploit that allows the code to work.
Because of all the methods, or devices more accurately, used, the procedure is always the same: Power down, ensure device is connected an...
First of all, it's not a hack.
Second, there is no use for this except for game "backups". There is no way, at least as of yet, to run homebrew, which would be the only legal application of this device. And yet, think about it, what do all the videos of this "hack" show it doing? Copying game files and then playing them without the disc in the PS3. Gee, that sounds like something pirates would do, doesn't it? Rent the game, rip it to the hard drive...
I didn't say anything bad about the update. I just said they didn't do much with the visuals. And the speed of navigation didn't come across well enough for me to notice in the video which is why I mentioned the UI which was the big change when they went from the blades setup to the NXE setup.
As for the Kinect stuff, they didn't talk about it so why would I? I went off of what they showed in the videos. ESPN doesn't interest me so I didn't comment on...
