Yes, because bullshots are indicative of the games final quality.

Comparing HR and AW because they are dark and "Story driven" is like comparing Halo 3 and R&C because they are both colorful and you shoot things.

EDIT: Disagree Fairy, where are you? Please tell me what offended you. I need to know, really.

The problem with attitudes like that is eventually DVD does start to have an impact on games. It hasn't been too much of a problem yet, but I think this is the first game that you can easily say DVD had a negative impact on.

For example, the graphics have been slightly downgraded, There are no longer any villages or towns to explore, the game has been described as extremely linear (which is saying something as Final Fantasy has always been pretty linear), there is no constant mi...

Why shouldn't it have better graphics? It's coming out almost 6 months after Uncharted 2 and Sony's first party studios are known for sharing tech and knowledge. I would be very surprised if it didn't look at least a little better than Uncharted.

The problem Japan is facing is stagnation. They keep making the same games over and over and they have fallen behind the curve when it comes to innovation. They still make good games but as far as innovation is concerned, they are lacking. Hopefully, they will rebound because if Japan completely shuts down (As far as making games for others) then the impact on the industry will be huge.

You're right. Developers should just delay the games indefinitely to include all the stuff they ever might want to put into the game and never again make any money.

Disc size has nothing to do with why there is so much DLC. The reason there is so much DLC now is because every console has an integrated network that allows for the delivery of the content and the even bigger reason is: People buy it. Thinking it is the disc capacity when the greatest amount of DLC comes from third-p...

You really think so? Games have been done with that kind of bullshit before. It gets old really fast and it isn't nearly as accurate as a controller. SIXAXIS supported games had stupid crap like moving the controller to melee and almost no one ever used it because it sucks. The only game to do it well, in my opinion, was SOCOM when you tilt the controller you lean left or right and can peek over cover. All other uses sucked.

Who exactly makes enough money off of the games? Do you even know? Maybe you should go back to the land of PC where nobody pays for anything, you fvcking hippy!

5870d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Why just stop at DLC? Why not have games be free? DLC that is already on the disc is bullshit. Most developers have learned this and have stopped doing it. But that aside, why should we pay for anything? Developers don't need to feed themselves and their families, right? They should just give it all away for free.

DLC when done right can add to a game like leftovers from a great meal. This would be awesome DLC for this game.

EDIT above: That wasn't even part of the ...

Do you have a copy of Battletoads?

While you're mostly right, the CPU can have an effect on the GPU. The CPU still has to tell the GPU what to process so if Natal slows down the CPU it would have an effect on the GPU. I'm not saying this is likely, just that the possibility exists. If the code is inefficient, it could lead to problems.

5870d ago 6 agree3 disagreeView comment

how do you know it won't be complete dogshit? The tech involved with Natal is impressive, but the execution of the tech so far is much less so.

We'll have to wait and see how it all plays out but I really don't think Natal is the Second Coming 360 fanboys are praying it is. It could be cool. I personally think that it's MS's attempt to conquer the Wii market and it will be met with mixed results. I also think that Sony's attempt is no less gimmicky than the others, but I see more...

But people need to also get rid of this bullshit idea that CPUs are like a pie. That only so much gets used and then there is stuff left over. It doesn't work like that. 100% of the CPU being used is almost always the sign that something is wrong, not that something is right.

Supposedly, he has to cut off a finger or his son dies. At least that is what the previews have said.

Hopefully it's better than the first one. Maybe more like Dragon Age, as far as length is concerned.

5872d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

How in the blue fvck do you come up with that? Couldn't the same be said about pretty much any online game, like WoW or Halo?

EDIT: Actually, no. I just fail to see how stupid a person has to be to make sweeping generalizations like that without realizing both the hypocrisy and irony contained within that statement, that's all. Also, please don't respond to me, I'm afraid you'll get your stupid one me.

Mass Effect 2 is worth most peoples time. I only hope it isn't half a game like the first one(As far as RPGs go). I really hope the main quest is longer than 12 hours this time.

So PS3 owners can't buy multiplatform games now? Or are you finally admitting that games on PC are not exclusive to the 360?

5872d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

It was just a question. I asked because I personally haven't played it in months and no one on my friends list has either. I really figured that it had fallen to the wayside because of bigger titles. I'm not saying it's a bad game, just that compared to marquee releases, it's easy to forget about it.

5872d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Is anyone still playing 1943? I figured ODST, Uncharted 2, and especially MW2 would have made everyone forget about it.
