Best gaming moment ever was when I was high playing Crimson Skies. Flying through caves, dodging missiles, and taking down Zeppelins. Man I hope they make a next gen Crimson Skies!
I love how people say that the RROD gave Microsoft more sales when that is so wrong. Microsoft was forced into replacing the consoles costing them a ton of money. I should know since I had to send in my console about 4 times. I know one thing for certain the next Xbox will be rock solid in reliability.
Xbox got a free pass thIs generation because the PS3 and cell was so horrible to develop for. This upcoming generation the systems will be much more similar so Microsoft has to be at least up to par with the PS4 specs.
Haha! This is the most delusional thing I have heard in awhile. I almost forgot that Sony and Nintendo were not actual corporations but charities for gamers. Even if they are hemorrhaging money they will just stick it through because it's for the good of the gamer. I will put a (sarcasm) just in case you don't get it.
The people that would be thrilled about this will just buy a Roku. They need to focus on the games because this is supposed to be a games machine and gamers are the ones that are going to buy this first.
I doubt that Microsoft will just roll over to Sony when it comes to the specs. They know the core gamers ie: the people buying the console first, care about the specs. I know specs aren't everything but it would be a grave mistake to have 8 gb of ddr3 when the competition has gddr5.
The older rumors said there was a 360 chip included with the x86 architecture. Hope this still remains the case.
Being an Xbox owner the last 2 generations I have to say that Sony has really stepped it up with the PS4. I really hope Microsoft follows suit with comparable specs and doesn't pander to the casual market otherwise they will have lost me.
U mad that PS3 and PS4 will get the game 6 months to a year later with that exclusive content.
Android is an awesome OS. If this was the case I would immediately buy the PS4 over the next Xbox. Sony would have their own smartglass competitor. I could imagine controlling the PS4 with my Nexus 7.
BC is super important at the start of a generation because it gives people an incentive to stay with a brand. If the next Xbox doesn't have BC what is to keep me from going to the PS4. If it does than my decision is a lot easier. Same goes for PS3 owners. You would think these companies would want to hold onto their current install base transitioning into a new generation.

Has anyone looked at what games these guys developed? I wouldn't say they have any clout within the industry considering they developed Barbie Beach Adventures and Jackass: The Game. Just saying.
I agree with dragonknight. I would buy a lot less games and really have to research which games are worth my money. Microsoft and Sony will sees their attach rates plummet if they implement this tech. Both companies really need to wait until consoles are digital download only which will probably be the generation after and this used game problem will work itself out. It would be a mistake to force it on us now.

It does look like it will take place in the 20's or 30's in a desert area. Kind of reminds me of Indiana Jones.
