Here is an Xbox gamer for 2 generations who just placed his preorder for a PS4.
I have been an Xbox gamer the last 2 generations and I love the Xbox exclusives but i am a gamer first You have to be a friggin idiot to buy an Xbox 1 over a PS4. It's $100 less and the GPU is 50% more powerful. Not even mentioning the DRM. MS did get nuked today.
Apparently Bushnell hasn't been reading the news this week with the PRISM leaks.
@buddymagoo I am pretty sure Sony is going to have similar policies. Right now they are staying quiet and letting MS take the brunt of all the rage. And before you say that executives from Sony said otherwise, remember that MS was saying the same thing until this clarification.
I really hope that they revisit Crimson Skies at some point.
Does anyone know if you will be able to stream the game to the Vita while doing something else on the PS4? This would be quite useful since the girlfriend takes over the "netflix box".
Onlive says hi, which after it went under, MS hired all their engineers without actually having to buy the company. Onlive was > Gaikai.
Haha! Xbox while camping! Sorry but "camping" in your RV is not really camping.
You don't see book publishers demanding resale profits off of books. This is pure greed plain and simple. They just want another piece of the pie. They should have waited until a digital only platform and they wouldn't have gotten so much nerd rage.
I'm thinking $99 Xbox that connects to the One and offers hardware BC that was rumored.
They are going to treat it like kinect this generation and release it halfway through the generation to "revitalize" the platform. I'm sure the VR glasses will come out with this as well.
Yes, watching carefully at my dollars going to Sony and wondering why.
Microsoft is doing the best job they can convincing me to give my money to Sony. The only thing that interests me is using the servers to boost the machine's performance. At some point depending on your Internet it could be more powerful than the PS4.
If MS wanted to keep me as a customer they should have had some form of backwards compatibility. That would have locked me in to the Xbox One considering how much i have spent on the 360 As of now there is nothing keeping me loyal to the Xbox brand. Achievements dont cut it. I will wait till E3 to pass final judgement though but it's not looking like they will get my money.
I am a cordcutter so I could give 2 shits that you can hdmi in your cable box to the Xbox One. 1/3 of the functionality of the box is lost to me. Not only are you paying $60/year but if you want everything the box offers you have to shell out $70/month for cable.
Well then, this is unofficial confirmation that the next Xbox won't require an always on Internet connection.
I agree, won't even read the article to give them the click throughs they so desperately want.
Battlefront 3 and Dice! Sweet!
Always online required was debunked today.

But if course you don't see this anywhere on N4G.
Consumer choice. The only way you can make these companies stop their anti-consumer policies is to speak with your dollars. I do usually buy my games new but the fact that someone is taking the option away from me and forcing me to conform to their policies pisses me off.
