the unreal engine is built for the same architeture that the 360 runs on. its designed for pcs. the cell is something completely different and so sony had to work with epic to refine the engine for the cell. now that its been done games that use the unreal engine in the future wont have the developement hell that previous games had. its only going to get better from this point.
there is no direct x 10 on any console. 360 is direct x 9 and ps3 isnt even direct x.

ive said it once before. hddvd might have a higher attach rate for now, but thats becasue people who buy an hddvd player will without a doubt have an hd tv. just becaues you have a bluray player doesnt mean you have an hd tv. i for example still have an sd tv and i have a ps3. why would i buy a bluray movie now? but when i am able to purchase an hd tv, i can benefit from bluray movies. so the attach rate argument is only temporary.

thats absolutley untrue. every movie will play, just some features wont work like PiP. but since most people buy ps3s for bluray players and they can be updated it wont matter...stop spreading lies.
youll get more bang for your buck if you buy tekken 5 online instead of virtua fighter and dont forget oblivion game of the year edition.
well since basically they just do a roster update year to year it makes good sense. maybe they should keep the price the same and release a game every two years. that should give them long enough to rebuild the game from the ground up and not cheat one console on development time.

i just posted about the stupid crap this article says and not about what you think.
that is some of the most arbitrary scores ive ever seen. the positive things he said about the wii and the 360 and yet he says hardly anything about the ps3 having both the positives of each console..for example..the wii is wi-fi and has the wii channels and a motion sensing controller...but a crappy library of games. it comes down to every song,game,movie,tv show,console,pc,program....eve rything under the face of the sun is loved and hated at the same time and the only way to judge something is to experience it yourself.
the main differences are:
bluray has region codes and hddvd is region free (bluray games are region free)
bluray has more space per layer
hd-dvd is owned by only toshiba and they regulate the standards for it. one of the standards they set is all hd-dvd players have an ethernet plug for updating and online features in hd-dvds
bluray is owned by a conglomerate of companies and its standards are agreed upon by a group and flexible. early bluray players werent require...
this game at the very least is a stepping stone for the future in gaming. its AI and environment interaction will be the basis for many games in the future. for these reasons alone i want to own this game.
I think of this game as a shadow of the colossus type game. a unique experience that comes along once in a blue moon. The realistic looking swordplay alone makes my spine tingle. The whole time i play this game im going to be thinking..."please use this engine for prince of pers...
i dont use the ticker so i have no trouble. its a nice idea but there just isnt enough news about the playstation to warrant a ticker...they should have used that time and money to develope on something else like communication enhancments...but we will get those soon too..
so just another anti-sony story that has no real fact base...
not everything is a payoff by microsoft. from what ive read sony japan wont release games with certain ratings and so it may have to be toned down or something of that nature. whereas microsoft doesnt have a rating policy. either way it doesnt matter...you can just import it for the ps3 if you want to play it that bad.
the game is designed to take your time to play. you cant rush through it or youll miss the experience. give this game a chance and remember its not about moving in the shadows stealth. its moving in plain sight stealth.
