a few theories why the ps3 attach rate is low
1)some ps3 owners actually use the ps3 for bluray movies and not gaming
2)ps3 owners rent games versus buying them
3)ps3 owners buy more used games
4)ps3 owners do more than play games
5)ps3 owners do nothing except play the same game
6)ps3 owners prefer psn games to ps3 games
7)ps3 owners are older so their mommys cant buy them everything they want...
i heard they were working on the ps3 connection issues...its a really fun game. maybe ill pick it up again used from gamestop so i dont risk losing anymore money...
i owned cod4 for ps3 and took it back a week later because i got tired of sitting around trying to connect to a game. thats ridiculous activision. so i traded it for ut3 and found that it connects well..has a bit of lag and the vctf is boring as hell. the maps are huge and the vehicles are cool, but its only 8vs8. its too empty. i never played resistance multiplayer so i dont know if its any good. well that guarantee was based on the scenario that bluray would win the format war. i should have said that at the time. obviously if bluray is the lone format they will re-release hddvd movies on bluray becasue their wont be a market for them.
Now the combo player idea i cant believe you dont see that. (for arugments sake we assume bluray wins) you bought an hddvd player early on and have a nice collection of movies. but your format isnt going to get any more movies. so you can either...

i think there will be a huge market for combo players eventually. So people can keep their hddvd calatlouge and start a blurray catalouge.
why would a ps3 owner need a combo player when they have been buying bluray all along. and i can gurantee that movies that were only hddvd will eventually end up bluray.
I was this close to importing the gps to use with map this. now ill just wait and use the umd maps and not waste the space on my duo. cant wait for spring.
on a side note...the mart has a psp. thats freakin weird.
gamestop sells it used for 34.99. im debating on picking it up or not considering the sequel will be out this year.

what really pisses me off is activision beta tested the online for 360 and not ps3. that crap needs to stop now. there shouldnt be anymore exclusive beta testing going on for multiplat games. making your online work right shouldnt be an incentive for buying a game on one console versus the other.
give folklore a go. its use of the sixaxis in combat is really cool too. yeah i find high velocity bowling to be more challenging and authetic than wii bowling.
